My wife and I wanted to create a very special space in our backyard and after several tries and interviews we gave up at least twice. Then, our attorney had just had a magnificant project completed by Chris Phillips and we were floored at how every detail was tended to and the "wow factor" was incredible!
We hired them, spent a small fortune, not because they are expensive, but because we were so impressed with the first phase we continued working with Chris for almost two years. He brought our residence into the current times and we have never been happier with our S. Tampa residence.
What I appreciated most was the material selections they recommended. I didn't have to run all over town sourcing things because they did it all for us. The selections are timeless and not trendy at all. Just understated ellegance that will look good long after we are gone.
If you select this contractor you will actually enjoy the process which I didn't think was possible with construction.

This is the worst contractor I have ever encountered. He mismanages the project so badly he is under investigation by the State Licensing Board. He can't hire reputable subs because he doesn't pay them. He abandons jobs once he bleeds the funding from the project leaving the homeowner with a mess to resolve. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!

Hired Phillips in 2/17 and had a pretty good experience. Our job was a bit complicated and they were the only contractor that was capable of doing other things besides the pool, like a Cabana with grilling station, pool bath and fireplace. So, their one stop shop was nice.
