Installed HVAC system in new construction. I contacted the builder because it was freezing in the house and the downstairs thermostat didn’t seem to work. I hired a home inspector because I was suspicious. Found out that they had not installed ANY dampers in my house and the thermostat was just for show. The unit was running all day for a month before the owner of Phoenix heating and cooling came out. He pretended to go to the attic to look but came back saying that the dampers were back ordered because of Covid. He intentionally put no dampers in the house!!! I told him that he would have to pay for my electric bill and to get out of my house for lying to me. He yelled back “Call the city then!” and left my house slamming the door. It took another two weeks before his foreman came back and installed all the missing dampers. I would never do business with such a dishonest and unprofessional business again.
