    Hired Kory to build a deck for my home in the Twin Cities back on March 3, 2018 based on positive reviews via Thumbtack. Paid $5200 up front and he had good communication with me until I questioned him on the permits he claimed he had pulled for the project. That's when the phone number became disconnected and all communications ceased. I was able to track him down via some private investigation down in Des Moines. I gave him 3 final changes to at least communicate with me to no avail. On the final notice, I advised him that I'd send the case to the Washington County Sheriff for prosecution here in Stillwater, MN still with zero communications. I filed the case and Kory was arrested today on a felony theft warrant.     Build a roof over my deck

    DO NOT HIRE KORY PHOMPHENG, PHOMPHENG CONSTRUCTION LLC!!!!!
    I hired Kory on Dec 26th 2017, after he advertised on Nextdoor to build a roof over my deck. I paid him $1500.00 downpayment that day & on Dec. 28 $1000.00 for architectural drawing. On Jan. 3, 2018 he said he needed to special order the rafters & would cost $6705.00. Then on Jan. 8 needed $2645.00 more for rafters. So I'm into him for $11,850.00 now & have nothing. The last communication I had with him was on Mar. 27, 2018 & he said he would be here last week of May, first week of June. I called him May 31st & his phone is disconnected!!! This is so dishonest & reprehensible that a human being can do this to someone. If anyone has any information about Kory & his business, please post so he can be brought to justice. He cannot continue to do this to anyone else!!!

    Just had Kory Phompheng and his company come out and do a home remodeling job for me. After searching all over for an estimate Kory came out and gave me a bid. His bid came in a middle point to all the others I had. Kory did a great job explaining the process and time frame for me. I spent 86K on this project and the work that the did was fast and on time. I would recommend him to anyone they did a great job.

    Do not hire Kory Phompheng

    Do not hire Kory, this was my first mistake! He asks for half the money up front which was my second mistake. He hires out your job to cheap labor and they do a crappy job. Not even finished 10% they quit coming to my house and Kory never would return my calls. I tried to go to their office address which was a bogus address. I tried to have him served for small claims court and an investigator couldn't find him. This obviously isn't his first time doing this. A new partner was working on my job and he said Kory even took money from him and that if I find him to let him know. Don't do it! He will give you the cheapest bid but you won't get the work.
