Absolutely horrible experience with Pier Pro Foundation, Mike Smith seemed reliable at first when he quickly would answer calls and texts before signing a contract. He even emailed us to make sure we would use their company versus others we got quotes on. This company was recommend by a family friend, and we were surprised after he received the down payment ($4,600) that he didn’t call or stay in contact after the start date that was promised in May 2021. My husband and I would call or text almost weekly and once my husband placed a bad review on the BBB website, Mike quickly responded to his text and had a threatening/defensive attitude as if we were in the wrong for just wanting an input on the job. Still after we gave him another chance to complete the job he did not follow thru and never answered our calls or messages. Not only did they not complete the job they started (showed up one full day and another day for 2 hours) but come to find out he never requested a city permit either. I’m not sure if this company has always done business like this before, the only reason we decided to hire Pier Pro was because their quote was reasonable and a friend recommended them. If we could give a 0 star rating we would, please save yourself the headache and time from filing a civil suit for your money to be reimbursed and don’t hire this company. We learned the hard way!
