Pierre Charles is not an honest contractor. The contract he puts together has many loop holes, allowing him room to get more money out of you ($10,000+). His workers installed a brand new hot water unit (tankless), which exploded twice, due to wrong venting, and he is not taking the responsibility to change it. He removed two walls without getting a permit first, and wanted to charge more to patch up the walls too. He charged me for removing the kitchen cabinets and discarding them, but he told me the estimate was ONLY for removing the cabinets that were against the walls he was removing. I have reported him to the bureau. Be careful when dealing with him!

Pierre has helped me with multiple indoor and outdoor projects and he always exceeds my expectations. He knows how to work with the city and understands HOA limitations as long as you tell him about them. Pierre's bids are a bit more than other bids, but you get what you pay for. He inspects the work and will have his guys take something out and re-do it if he's not happy with the look or functionality. His workers are friendly, show up on time and work very hard. We had great communication and if I didn't like something or wanted to change something, they were very accommodating.
We went over budget outside, but I feel it was well worth it. I wouldn't use anyone else, but getting on his list takes a while, tells you he's good and in high demand.
