  We were having dinner on the night of February 27th when we noticed a wet area in our ceiling right above our dining room table. When we were unable to detect the leak ourselves, we began to frantically dial “24 hour” roof repair companies. Long story short, none of the 24 hour companies could get out to us until about 8 am. With the rain predicted to fall harder than it has in months around 3 am, to say we were stressed out would be an understatement. We poked a hole in the ceiling, put a bucket on the table, and prayed for the best. When we awoke the next morning, it was pouring hard, the ceiling was wet, and water was dripping through the hole into the bucket. Glenn Pietronico, the owner, returned our call from the night before, @ 6:15 am. He doesn’t offer 24/7 roof repairs, but we had left him a voicemail anyways, and after speaking with him for 5 minutes that morning we decided to have him take a look. He arrived to our home in less than 5 minutes (we live in the same area), jumped right up on the roof, quickly identified the problem, and tarped the area of our roof in need. The leak stopped. We enjoyed a leak-free home for about 6 hours, until the wind began to blow very hard (so hard it blew the tree in our front yard nearly out of the ground). The wind blew off the top tarp, and we called Glenn. He arrived with more tarps, more tiles to weight it down, and his sons to help him within 15 minutes. We enjoyed our weekend completely leak free after that (which was amazing, because it rained hard ALL weekend long!). We received a text message from him this morning, saying he would be here to cover the leaky area. He re-papered and re-tiled (we had 3 broken tiles in the area of the leak) a 5’ x 15’ area of our roof. He also covered ALL of the pipe and attic vent junctions on our entire roof with mastic. He added the mastic as a courtesy and free of charge. Glenn was friendly, professional, and very personable. His sons are as well. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and his price, especially when compared to all of the other companies we called, were very fair. I have already recommended Glenn’s company to friends that also suffered from leaks and various other roof issues this past weekend, and I will continue to do so for any other folks I come into contact with in need of roofing repair and installation. Thanks for your help Glenn, you truly are a hero!
