  Repair generator

  $395

  my generator was making a noise. I called Pike county generator they came the next day as promised. a spark plug had come out. I hadn't tightened it properly. charged me $375 for annual service and valve adjustment. I called 2 other companies. 1 gave me a price of $200 the other $199 for same work.

  update. Steve called me this morning. he said someone was there in 2 hours. it was the following day after 4pm. He said they treat all non working generators as an emergency. My generator was working.He said I was given a price before the tech arrived. I wasn't. He said he had spoken with me before. He hadn't. He told me nobody ever complained about his prices. Then he said if he sent a check to everyone who complained he would be out of business. The tech came saw the spark plug was out. changed oil and filter. Changed air filter and spark plugs. Adjusted engine idle and adjusted valves. They may be nice. Until you complain. Talking to Steve was like talking to Marie Barrone from the tv show. It may or may not sound nice but it's not.

  Pike County Generator is the absolute best contractor to work with in the area. Just had a generator installed and could not believe how well the crew work together. Just like a well-oiled machine. I have worked with other contractors in the area regarding various projects, none of them could even come close to Pike County Generator. My only regret is that the only thing they do is install generators. If they did Roofing, decking or anything else I needed I would hire them immediately. My husband and I highly highly recommend Pike County Generator to anyone in the market for a home generator.

  The last bad storm in Highland Lake, NY my generator destroyed itself. Steve and crew worked endlessly to revive it, finally we decided to replace it was financially and expediently the best way. That is when Nicole steps in this young lady schudule as soon as possible,she is a girl Friday. I cannot say enough good about this company and defy anyone to disagree with me. Norm Sutherland

  Generator

  $11,000

  He was a pleasure to work with. However it did take him some time to get the 11,000 dollar job done. I'd recommend him but not his employees. I paid $50 to an employee of his to plant some flowers. I had to dig them all back up because he planted them on rocks and didn't dig enough. A honorable man would deduct the $50 and return the money back to me. I will update what happens. I. Haber

  Consumers beware of Pike County Generator Inc!

  I contacted Pike County Generator Inc located in Milford, Pa to repair my generator. They showed up on time and were able to get the generator running very quickly. However, the repair man told me he did not know what the problem was and I was charged a total of $165.00. Several months later I contacted Pike County Generator Inc. to let them know my generator is still not working. Once again they came out and got it running within about 30 minutes and charged me another fee of $169.00. The repair man stated to me that he still does not know what the problem is. I explained that I wanted it repaired and that they were just out several months ago. Once again, they still charged me $169.00 with no warranties or assurance on their repair work, period. I would say they are taking an advantage of a bad situation by their Unreliable repairs…As a consumer I would never recommend them because they do NOT stand behind their work and seem to only want to collect their service fees.

  It was an absolute pleasure working with the guys from Pike County Generator. The owner personally came out for our estimate. The generator was installed within a week and a half from when we signed the contract. The inspector that came out even stated what a great job they do. We are very pleased with them and highly recommend.

  start up my generatorm which was not excercising.

  Gives contractors a bad name

  They said my generator was brain dead and left with my money. Another contractor started it right up and said it just needed a new switch, which was a minor item and took literally 10 seconds to replace. They said they wanted $1,000.00 to correct the way it was sitting on the slab. Another contractor did it for $300.00, I would say they tried to take advantage of me and I would never recommend them again.

  I used Pike County Generator for my generator installation.
  They were efficient and did the proper turn key job.I would highly recommend them as quality generator company.
