Don Jennings
Owner
My new Alcoa shingled siding is warped. Don Jennings said it is a manufacturer's defect. Alcoa, and an independent engineering firm, confirm that it is an installation defect. Pine Hill installers have returned three times. Their "repair" was to nail the siding directly to the house (not through the expansion slots) and to improperly repair the aluminum trim on the gables and around the garage doors. They removed trim at the bottom of the gables and installed new pieces OVER the trim at the top of the gables, allowing water to run under the trim. This sub-contractor's unbelievably sloppy work was for a contractor who self-promotes his business as "Harrisburg's Premier Builder."
