I accepted their estimate in Aug 2020, they took $9000 insurance money and as of 5-26-2021 have not even started the job.

I got a metal roof bid from these guys around a year ago. And I didn’t have all the funds to do the job at the time so I needed time to collect. So I called again when I was ready this spring. So I called and I told them I was ready. I was told that because the metal tariff taxes the metal roof price had gone up. I didnt think about the tax affecting metal roofing. They re estimated and they said they would do the best they could to accommodate and keep the price the same. They came back and the owner told me that they would take the hit and honor the original price. I was so happy. They did inform me they where very behind so they wouldn’t take a down payment until they where ready to start. They came in and where very professional. Josh is one heck of a worker and they got the job done in a timely order. I highly recommend them for any roofing you may needs.

This should be zero stars as they never did any work for me. I called for a roof estimate and initially they were very responsive. I got the estimate, paid them $6000 and was emailed by the owner that Lee was my point of contact thereafter. After 7 months of back and forth on texts and calls with Lee and an email to the owner on the original estimate thread, I was told that one of their employees (Napatali Legazpi) was scamming their customers and had stolen my $6000. This employee had access to the owner’s email account from the beginning and Pine Tree said it had no record of our transactions other than my initial contact in February. I was told my money was lost and they would not honor the $6000 I had put down. Though legally this may be true it was their employee and they had set up the system so he was able to do this. Incredibly infuriating.
