Basic repair and updating for selling
    $10,700

I wasn’t going to leave a review because they are a new company and I was going to let them be able to get their act together. But after walking into the home they were supposed to be doing simple work on to get it ready to be sold, I’m done. They busted down the front door and then left it unsecured all weekend so anyone could walk in and take anything we had left in there. They broke a window and tried to blame us and charge us until I confirmed with some others that it definitely wasn’t and couldn’t have been us. The outside paint job was done over the top of the old and badly peeling paint and I was give the excuse that it was hot and the painter kept passing out. If he kept passing out because of heat, then he should have stopped and gone home, not just paint over everything and hope we didn’t notice. I made them redo it. They cut flooring inside the house getting saw dust all over the walls and down the hallway into the bedrooms. I had closed the bedroom doors and they opened them and left them open when they weren’t even working in them yet. They clogged the new air filter and caused the air conditioning fan to get stuck on because it was working so hard because of the clog. At the first inspection I did where I pointed out all the problems, there was a young kid which I learned is the owners nephew, who was very argumentative not only to his boss in front of the customers, but to me at one point as well when I wasn’t even talking to him but to his boss. All the plug in faceplates were supposed to be replaced and they only covered the ones that were missing and some were still missing some of the screws. One light switch that’s out in the open is still missing it’s cover. They left paint on some of the windows. The drain in the master shower was never replaced like I reminded them several times. The back door was framed in without being fitted and there were huge gaps that anyone who stood back to check their work would have seen right off the bat (it was redone). The old seal for the old toilet in the master was left in the sink along with some tools and trash. Paint buckets left out in the yard everywhere along with extra siding and some other wood. A giant tractor tire was also left in the yard. There was some things we paid them to haul off and they left half of it behind, some of which out in the back yard, even though I reminded them several times. A couch that was the next owners was taken out and given away even though it had a sign saying to leave it (young kid argued that there was no sign). We had to hire professional cleaners to clean the house and now we have to pay more to take away the trash they left behind. I got reports from several neighbors that the workers spent a lot of their time just standing around talking which makes sense why it took a month for them to do simple things. I was told it would take a week and a half at most to do all the work. And I was made to feel like it was our fault that they went over budget even though they walked through the house and saw everything before giving a quote. The whole thing was sloppy, unprofessional, and I didn’t even get to the check mishap that was on them. I was never informed of any problems that happened until they were waiting on the new window to come in and it didn’t come in on time. I don’t recommend them at all and at this point I will be warning my neighbors that hired them for other work to watch them while they work and stay on top of them.
