    Crook

Is there a NEGATIVE FIVE rating? Stay clear of Paul Rudd, owner of PJR,. He is a crook. Takes your money and may or may not show up to finish. Then hounds you like a mafia boss for final payment despite the extraordinary length of time it took to finish a half assed job. He should be indicted or at least have his no registration retracted.

    Never use him

Sandy cost me last year's rental season. I told him I had to have this finished by this year's rental season. That is not going to happen. Yes, he has disappeared. He's taken my money and disappeared. And he has sub-contractors threatening to put liens on his business.

    Poor Choice

PJR Demolition was and continues to be the single largest MISTAKE I made while trying to recover from Hurricane Sandy. I paid nearly the entire cost, while he performed a large part of the job but disappeared. His phone messages fill to where you cannot leave a message (which doesn't matter as he does NOT return phone calls). The work he's done remains unfinished and they failed municipal inspection. He started work about 6 months ago, saying "start to finish the job would take about 2 months to complete" and it's now 6 months and counting. Furthermore, I started looking through the Internet about PJR and found a website called Pro License ( http://www.prolicenses.com/licenses/new-jersey/home-improvement-contractor/311212 ) says "LICENSE DETAILS for 13VH07132500" The license #13VH07132500 is registered by Pjr Demolition Services Inc (D.B.A. PJR Demolition Services Inc) of New Jersey. The license type is specified as Home Improvement Contractor. The original issue date is listed as 2013-01-07. Based on the information obtained by ProLicenses from the state licensing board, this license's status is "expired" as of March 27, 2013. Please note that in some cases a later renewal might mean this credential is still active but under a different license number. Around my town, signs indicate PJR is still operating under license # 13VH07132500

    Beware

PJR Demolition was and continues to be the single largest MISTAKE I made while trying to recover from Hurricane Sandy. Your paying, up front, nearly 90% of the cost, while he performs only part of the job, then disappears. His phone messages fill to where you cannot leave a message (which doesn't matter as he does NOT return phone calls). The work he does is sloppy, unfinished, and he fails municipal inspections. I signed a contract a year ago, he started work about 6 months ago. He said start to finish it would be a 2 month job and it's 6 months and counting. Do yourself a favor, steer clear of this guy & those of us who made the horrible mistake of using him, my sincere condolences!!

This contractor is not a reliable contractor. He starts the work and then disappears for a while then returns when he wants money to do the next part of the job. Never answers his phone and never calls back when you leave messages. Work is just ok. He is not a professional contractor if he was he would do as the contract he has you sign
