  8 months and not one thing done after a 40k deposit. Owner says he needs time to return my deposit, which means he does not have my money. They lied about pretty much everything and now the pool designer Sean told he he has not been paid either, so check the better business bureau (they have an F rating) and call Florida dept of Lic as they have 4 current investigations against them.

  New pool build

  I do not recommend at this time. Owners Avoidance only makes things worse. Owner in his OWN words personally said communication was everything! On August 25th, 2022 we shook hands and confirmed this project would be a priority, pavers would be grabbed from another job and we had about 45 days of this nightmare left. That same day you refused to talk to Mike anymore for being unprofessional to you which was due to being avoided repeatedly and excuses galore. What are you doing to us again now? I have been nothing but nice. I text you nicely, I have been patient, I have been professional and now I am done playing games.
  Nearly 11 mos has gone by. We have a hazardous swamp in our yard. A blob of concrete that was to be our grotto and pavers that were not done to specs. Horrible service! We have a grotto to finish, marcite needed, pool equipment to be bought by you and hooked up, 2 lite Features (that we have yet to see) to be installed and all necessary items items cleaned up to have a running pool and a clean non hazardous yard.
  Very very concerning to work with a company that we cannot even leave messages with due to having full voicemails…

  Do not use this company. Our pool was “completed” 18 months ago. In the construction phase, they never hit a deadline, the subcontractor crews had no supervision—which led to multiple issues with the pour, electric, and plumbing. Twice they had to go in and do MAJOR replumbing to pass inspections. We never did get a vacuum pipe connected into the spa, but there is a hole for one. I twice in 18 months we’ve had to have someone come in and clear the plumbing to the filter. Too many 45 degree turns, and too small a pipe used. The pipes plug. And most recently, our swim unit appears to be install incorrectly. The pool is leaking under our pavers into our yard. It has killed the grass, we have a permanent wet yard, and we must add on average 12 inches of water per day. Do NOT use these folks unless you want years of trouble.

  Remodeling pool, adding spa and outdoor kitchen

  STAY AWAY from this company. They take your money and change their phone number and stop answering your calls and text. We hire them 18 months ago for remodeling our pool, install spa and outdoor kitchen, we’re still waiting and our backyard looks horrible. Our permit expired and we can’t get any answers from them. We paid them most of the money but got only 70% of the job done. It’s a shame.

  Pool install

  10 months into the project now continuously Being lied to, we have multiple communication to the owner ask where he was and why he didn’t show up after he sets appointments. They never hit any target dates we were quoted. Quality of workmanship by platinum pools employees were poor. Had to get them to come back and fix multiple issues. Most sub contractors did a good job but platinum did not over see their work. Damaged property and 6 months later still trying to get them to repair issues. I wish we never hired them.
