I first utilized the services of Plaza Home Improvements in 2016 to renovate one of my bathrooms. About a year later in 2017 I had a flood which affected the same bathroom, parts of the kitchen, hallway, bedroom, closets - all of which they restored. While they were at it, they renovated my entire kitchen which I have been dreaming of for a long time, and also my family room. About another year later in 2018 they installed a French drain in my laundry room and did some outside work replacing gutters, etc. So you see, I like PHI because they do excellent work, are dependable and pleasant to deal with. Just make sure you find out ahead of time if whatever they’re doing is going to cause dust. I wasn’t warned and dust was all over the whole house from the work they were doing. They are a little pricey but sometimes it’s better to have people you can trust to do things right and stand by they work. I definitely recommend Plaza Home Improvements!

Plaza ha s been our Contractor for more than 15 years and has done everything in our 100 yearold house rom outside steps to the roof to new bathrooms. And in an old house there are always surprises behind the walls and ceilings, and Lou has always managed to retrofit the new and the old especially the plumbing. He does not start the job and come back later but supervises the work so there are no complaints after the job is finished. Satisfaction all the way from start to finish.

    Terrible Experience

I initially hired Plaza Home Improvement to paint my whole house. I mentioned to the owner, Louie that a major home improvement store was going to be installing new cabinets. He asked me how much they were charging me and then told me he could save me $600 so I decided to let him do the job. After he started the job, he charged me extra to carry a heavy cabinet upstairs after he had already seen the cabinet. He hires people to work with him, possibly day laborers that do shabby work. They left walls half painted. Doors and railings were halfway painted. They left holes in the walls after they took out screws. They left a ton of cigarette butts all over my front lawn, as well as on my balcony and throughout the house. Then Louie tried to blame it on my neighbors. He kept telling me the job would be finished "tomorrow," which was really weeks later. Really bad service!!
