    Install a basic tub

    Awful! Katelyn sent me a quote in writing, but after the plumber gets to my house, its $ 450 more! Plus they tore out 3 huge areas of drywall that wasn't all necessary. Other plumbers have now sent me pictures of what it should have looked liked and cost. The owner, Paul, will not return my call.

    They came out, snaked my drain and re-sat my toilet. When the exact problem developed a few weeks after, they were given an opportunity to stand behind the work they do and chose not to.

    Another plumber took the time to explain to me what they did and what they failed at.

    The people at Plumbing by Paul were all very kind. The only problem is they don't stand by the work they do.

    toilet repair

    I first got the referral to Plumbing by Paul. I used them in October of 2020. They were great! Did quality work, quick response, and reasonably priced. I continued to refer them to others in the group.

    Now it is 2022 and I need a plumber, so I called Plumbing by Paul and it was a whole different experience.

    Advertised as a 24/7 company. Called 3 times on the weekend finally reached them Monday 01/25/22, they came out at 4p, I requested 2 toilets be repaired, wax seals and guts, run a snake between the 2 toilets and replace the guts of the tanks. I had 2 kits which I showed him. He gave me an estimate of 869.00, which I though was High. He rebuilt the flange replaced wax seal and the guts in one toilet and replaced the water valve on the other one and he ran the snake between them. Approximately 1.5 hours.

    I noticed the 2nd package of guts was not used and immediately called the office. No answer. Then I noticed the same toilet was not sealed and rocking. I followed up the phone call with an email. Unfortunately, it only gets worse from here. After, numerous conversations, he came back out and wanted to charge an extra 263.00 to replace the guts. I told him No Thank you and called the office again. After, 7 emails, 5 texts, too many phone calls, and 2 missed appointments, and 3 weeks. 01/25-02/18

    He comes out again today,02/18 to tell me that the original estimate was for only 1 toilet. I can honestly tell you that I would never have paid 869.00 to have 1 toilet – 1 snake done when I supplied the parts. I would have paid the service fee and sent him on his way.

    It appears as if all the business thrown his way from ILSP has hurt their ability as a company and their prices skyrocketed while service got worse.

    13219 center ave nick and steve were very informative and showed me what was wrong . very efficient and very friendly and did a great job on my shower. also never made a mess cleaned up after themselves. i will always use this plumber thank you very much
