Thieves!! I wish I saw these reviews when I hired Pocono Home Improvement / Donald Dunlap to renovate my home in October of 2020 .  Donald will take your money and run.  I thought that since he had a storefront that he could be somewhat reliable but that is not even close to being accurate....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE save your money and hire someone else.  I now have to hire an attorney to go after this scam artist.  Donald told me he sold his interest in the company to someone named Kevin? and that his wife who is named either Sharon Dunlap or Sharon Kosmyna is part owner of the company... just please avoid all of these people/companies at all costs.

Donald Dunlap, owner of The Pocono Home Improvement Center in Bushkill PA is a thief, do yourself a favor, don't use this guy for any renovation, first of all, he doesn't know what he's doing, everything he did for me is wrong, and that's why he charged up front and he only accept cash. He took $23,000 for my renovation and stop working for no reason. He is a big liar a a thief. I will report him with the PA Consumer Affairs.

I hired this contractor to redo my whole kitchen. Contract was $8,500. Ended up paying him over $12,000. # months after the job was done, grout started coming up from our new floor. Called Don many times and he never showed up to repair. I hate to day this, but this contractor is a scam artist, never showed up when supposed too and always has an excuse !!!!! It's now been a year and a half calling him to fix this and always says he stands behind his work. Right -----WAY BEHIND !!! Now to keep from having to deal with me, he had an answering machine installed. Left a message every day for a month, no return call !!!!! I'm giving everyone a heads up here, he's a thief and does terrible work !!!!! I have reported him to the Better Business Bureau and the IRS as he made me pay him in cash. Please people, I'm warning you-- find a reputable contractor that is insured and has a license. He told me he had both and showed me bogus paperwork. I checked with the state and he's not licensed and not insured. Please don't make the same mistake I made. If you do, don't say you weren't warned !!!!!!!!!!!!!
