Upon first speaking with Jerry I was excited to find a pool company who seemed to know their stuff and want to do the job correctly. Sadly this ended up being the furthest thing from the truth with Jerry and Sapphire Pools. He was hired to repair and/or replace my pool heater from my home warranty company in October. Months went on and he kept “rescheduling” us. By January I had had enough and called the warranty company, they said he told them that he had already replaced my heater, when in fact he had not! He had not even come back to my house. After more months of battling and having to send pictures in to prove I didn’t have a new heater, he finally replaced it in June! 9 months!! The “brand new heater” is beat up and looks used although he assured me it’s brand new and that it’s under warranty and if anything comes up with it to contact him and it will get fixed under warranty. I didn’t fire it up, since it was no longer cold after waiting 9 months to install and we live in Texas and it can be expensive to run for no reason. We finally get a little cold front, I try to turn it on and it won’t even kick on. I have tried to contact Jerry for weeks/ no return calls! Even tried texting, nothing. I do NOT recommend this company at all! If he was in it to screw over the home warranty company that’s one thing, but in doing so, he has screwed me!

Jerry with Sapphire Pools (owner) is a scam artist! He took money for a job and never showed up to do the work. I am out over $882. I reported him to the BBB over a month ago, and he has not responded to them after several attempts. The first part of the job was paid in full also. He did not come back to do the punch list for the privacy fence that I way overpaid for. This is disgusting behavior from a con!
