The company employees state that they do service work on the weekly report that is not performed; I have seen them come and spend 5 minutes before leaving and stating that they have vacuumed, cleaned filters, brushed the pool, and checked the chemical levels - what they actually did was to add chlorine and leave. The water in my pump reservoir had been low for a couple weeks and I phoned the company to report that the pump filter needed to be cleaned. Their service person claimed it was clean and upon taking it out, it was full of algae and sand. I cleaned it, replaced it, and the pressure and reservoir level returned to normal.
A few months ago, I thought the pool was losing water. They said, for a charge, they could do leak detection, but all they did was a bucket test with the pump off, and they said there was no leak. Afterward I realized that the water level dropped when the pump was on.
Last week, we hired another company to do leak detection. They found a huge leak due to a beam crack above waterline in pool, which they patched.
