Port Murray Painting

Excellent experience with Port Murray painting. Replaced beams under our deck and reinstalled the deck boards. Highly recommend

I had signed a Contract with Manny and Port Murray Painting to install Sheetrock, Tape and finish ceilings and walls in 2 rooms. Instead he just hired a drywall company to come in and perform work. The work the did is extremely poor at best. Sloppy and Not professional. No holes were to be made in Ceilings as I am an electrician and was installing lights afterwards. He left them to their own accord and they made holes in ceiling, and buried an outlet behind sheetrock. Can still see seems in walls and ceilings too. When brought to his attention, very argumentative and just wanted to come 'collect'. On top of it, guys that were there helped themselves to a couple beers from my fridge. Really Dissapointed!

I wanted to share in detail my experience with Port Murray Painting.

I had been referred to Port Murray through friends as a contractor who could help with a fairly urgent project replacing the main beam of my home in preparation for sale.

Manny and Dan came to the house prepared with questions, took photographs and gave me a detailed outline of their process.

Within a couple of days I had a fully fleshed out proposal and a specific idea of the cost range of materials, labor, and a timeline. The supplementary team members (electrical and plumbing) were also top quality and easy to work with.

I am pleased to say that the level of service throughout the project was professional, responsive, and came within expected budget. The material costs were clearly spelled out, payment schedule was reasonable, and the workmanship was outstanding. Communication between all parties was clear and timely and the job was finished on time and as expected.

The worksite, even under the house where perhaps another contractor would not have paid so much attention, was left in outstanding condition and all materials were cleaned up completely.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Port Murray Team for any major contracting job. Thank you so much for helping me out of a challenging situation and getting me to my house sale!

After spending over 20k for work to be done, and flexibly working with the company over dates for work, they refused to finish off the job and wanted me to cover $60. to install 3/4” molding around a door they installed. Unprofessional in my book.
