He did not want to pay the cost of a paver deck, what he chose was a cheaper option as a band-aid. The crew worked very hard to make the deck as good as possible. ( painting does not fix cracks) When deck was completed the crew was complimented & even tipped. Post Time was paid in full, this proves acceptance. Mr. Howe had all the work done without wife's approval. When she came home & did not like the deck, we were the blame. This is a case where choice was made wrongly to save money. Post Time has a superb reputation. But we can't fix stupidity.

Hired to refresh my pool overall look .. came out drained the pool.. didn’t come back for 5 days, then came out and acid washed 1/2 the pool.. because other half was full of water from recent rain.. (were going to remarcite .. they never came .. then said not able to complete work due to pending storms .. would not return calls .. and would not return money of $1350... Finally spoke to Vicki Post , Mike’s wife and she claimed that I had cancelled the job . Not true ... very unethical in business practices ..
Response from Post Time Pools December 3, 2019Response from Post Time Pools; This customer needed a new pool interior. Her pool was badly pitted, stained & flaking off. Gail was trying to sell her home and wanted help on improving her pool. Gail could not afford the cost of the new plaster, so we were asked to clean up the best we could & stay within her budget. Gail was advised this would accomplish little but we agreed to proceed with the cleaning of the pool interior. At time of cleaning Gail was happy, however when pool was filled back up pool appearance was cleaner but all the pits & holes were now more obvious. We assume prospective buyers complained about the about the pool's appearance. At this point Gail called the office asking for a full refund. We did nothing wrong, but did offer to replaster her pool & apply what was already spent to the cost of the plaster. We were advised she needed to speak with her son & that was our last contact with this customer. As for any leaking concerns we only learned of Gail's concern with that aspect in her review written. We do have a specialist who does all of our leak concerns & can send our rep out if she wants to pay for this repair. -

Post time pool, was totally unreliable working on my pool. We had it converted to a salt system. A 2 day job turned into a 3 week project. Once Post had the money we didn't see him again. Just his subcontractors who were even more unreliable and sticky fingers. They took parts of my system" they didn't think I would miss. Then I check the salt cell and it is full of PVC glue webbed across the intake. And nobody calls you back. No office, no address, just a phone number. Use at your own risk, I wouldn't! As I said no Mike Post after money up front, just subs doing the work, when you get them to the job. Not everything promised was done.

We fully complied & completed all job specifications given to us by the VA hospital. We were paid in full & given very positive feedback from the VA hospital. Interestingly we reported this person the VA for fraud. They requested work & products that were not approved from the VA. They very much displayed a (entitled attitude) which we resent, as we too are part of a military family & do not approve of miss use of funds. Our company is known as the oldest pool family, and is four generations strong since 1948. We have over 7,500 customers without any negative remarks against our name. Personally the Post Family has a spotless police record and are outstanding citizens in the community. -

We hired Mike to get our pool entirely redone: plaster, tiles, coping. The result is amazing, the work was well done, his tile guy Elvis is an artist, and we are very satisfied with everything that was done. Mike goes above and beyond the scope of his work, even changed our old light bulb for a new multi colored one for free. We highly recommand Post Time Pool!

Writing reviews is not my thing however I felt compelled to write about Post Time Pools and it's owner, Mike Post. I hired Post Time Pools, after meeting with & getting quotes from 4 other pool contractors, to give my pool, deck and pool screen a total "facelift". Mike Post, the owner, had many good ideas, listened to what I had a vision of, and we came up with a game plan which stayed within my budget. New pool tile, new finish on the inside of the pool, cool deck all around, and redesigned the pool screening which gave me more space-- everything is new and clean. The crews were excellent, left the job site spotless. Working with Mike Post is a non-stressful experience. He got the job done quickly and he exceeded my expectation. We had several companies give us estimates and chose Post -Time Pools. Mike Post listened to what we wanted. I had a large mosaic turtle that I did not want to lose he assured me it could be saved, and did. He addressed every concern I had and responded by phone or stop by in very short time. I run a business from home and the crew was very careful not to interrupt. I am very picky and took pictures step by step. It turned out beautiful the teal chips are so small they just sparkle in the water. I did not want it to look over busy with color. I wish I could up load pictures it is exactly what we wanted.

Our experience was terrific.Post time gave us even more than we expected.They all have a attitude of service,and that is rare indeed in this day and age.

Post Time Pools added that special touch to our pool. We needed to update the pool and deck and they did the job at a reasonable price. They replaced the tile and did the interior of the pool. In fact they were the best bid and they showed me how to work with my pool to keep it right for many years to come. I would definitely use them again.
This is not an easy review to read. Believe me, it was even more difficult to write. I waited for 10 months to calm down and write this with facts not emotion. Not surprising I have more comments.
My pool was in need of resurfacing. My deck had cracks. I had an old french style drain with rocks near the house. I used Post-Time Pools at the recommendation of my pool service. I met the owner. He is very confident and has a long time history in the area. It’s a local company and I liked and respected the history. The quote process seemed very loose and had limited information. It was all hand-written on a simple form. He offered additional services like the deck and adding a decko-drain. I thought about it for a bit and decided to do it all. I was not given an option of tile or colors until I pressed for it and then was told it would cost extra if I selected anything different than what they offered. (Strike 1).
This was a more complex process as my fiberglass needed to be removed by a special crew, subcontracted (#1). There was an earlier time slot open and I jumped at the chance to get started early. The process is messy and the mess left behind was equally messy. I have remnants to this day (10 months later) in my back yard where the crew cleaned their boots and gear. It is white and has paste or clay-like consistency in my grass. I thought it wash away with all the rain but it is still, slightly diluted. Next the drain was started by another contractor (#2) . Overall it was a huge improvement from the dirt and rocks I had before. Not perfect, but it was going to be covered and painted by the deck update. 10 months later I see standing water next to the drain. Some pieces cracked off and all direct collects in the craters next to the drain. All of the second layer tile was not removed because it was too difficult or some other reason. He finished the tile new tile install. Unfortunately, he became ill and didn’t return to finish the deck. He was out for 3 days before anyone noticed. A week of time was lost until another deck guy came over.
When the final plastering was complete, the plaster crew cleaned their equipment and boots on my front and side lawn. I collected on full 5 gallon pail of plaster that was extracted from my front lawn in one spot.
Deck instructions were not properly handed off to new contractor #3. I requested all of the cracks filled and sealed and textured. The owner told contractor #3 not to do that, but to do it more cheaply. This left obvious patch marks everywhere. I paid extra for clearcoat directly to contractor #3. Ok it was not listed in the original quote. I paid $200 out of pocket for that. Then after deck re-patch, I paid for my own clear coat AGAIN. My labor – yet again!
They were colored and sealed now. I stated I was not happy with this and they tried to fix it. The proposed fix was to split the difference of $3300 with me to put a base coat and redo all the texture and sealing again. I ALREADY PAID FOR THIS and it wasn’t completed properly. I worked with contractor #3 to minimize this and just smooth out the patches. This still required more of my labor and more materials all at my cost; above and beyond the quoted price. In the end I had to buy my own sealer again and perform the work myself. Per instructions for the stain, it should have at least two coats of sealer. I was lucky to get one.
Redo of patches needed more stain and more clear coat. Blue color was bleeding through. I was told it would be taken care of. Lastly I find out the clearcoat is on me again and I’ll need to do it or hire contractor #3 again.
All crews showed up randomly and I didn’t know when they would be there. Only the contractor #3, deck guy, communicated to me each and every time what he did and where we were in the process. The job was not completed satisfactorily but at least he communicated.
As soon as they got the last payment that was that. I was told final payment indicates acceptance. I learned my lesson here.
Unknown to me, tile and concrete debris filled my skimmer drain. I had so much debris in my top pool drain it clogged the pipe! I had to dig it out myself with a snake. Some of it traveled to my filter and destroyed it.
There were concrete splashes on my screen enclosure base and lower screen sections. I had to replace all of them because it was terrible looking. I paid for new screen, spline and did all of the labor myself.
Update May 2021:
In April I started to notice very fine cracks in some of the areas repaired previously. I called and left several messages. No one returned my calls. The warranty is useless because they won’t return calls. They do not follow up.
My pool is functional but looks sloppy. The tile, the cement work, the drain, the surface is blotchy. The mess in my lawn killed the grass. Now I have cracks in my deck AGAIN and I need to hire someone else to fix. BEWARE - DO NOT USE POST-TIME POOLS!
