We cannot say enough good things about Powell Painting and their staff. We brought them in to refresh our largest social hall, involving wallpaper removal, carpentry, painting and wood refinishing.

Bryan and his crew were so easy to work with- respectful of our time constraints, communicative, and very solution-driven. They were always prepared, very clean and neat. They did a fabulous job in prepping the room, taking great care to wrap our draperies, flooring and woodwork.

Quite simply, an impeccable job! We look forward to working with them again!

Powell Painting Services did an amazing job. We just bought a new home and wanted to repaint and make sure that all of the wood on the house and trim was holding up and keeping the bones of our house safe. Brian provided us with a very detailed quote that stood out from all the other places we got quotes from, making sure we knew all of the things they were intending to do to our house. They came out, power washed it, and over a few days, did the woodwork repairs and painting. At the end of the process, the owner walked with us around the house to make sure we were satisfied with everything and fixed up any loose ends. Our family was highly satisfied with Powell!

I recently hired Brian Powell to paint my living room, dinning room, reception hall, the stairwell, upstair hall, as well as the stair risers and all the woodwork.
Brian and his crew completely covered all the floors, covered doorways, rolled up the rugs and covered the oak stairs.

Our house needed some carpentry work to replace rotting wood and a full paint job, and we wanted someone that did the job right without cutting corners. Bryan’s team was punctual, meticulous, thorough and skilled with all their work. While they were here, we realized we wanted to add a few items to the list, and they had no problem adjusting and still getting the job done right, and quickly. I knew going into 2021, I had to give my half bath and kitchen a facelift, especially after having no dishwasher (again). Before I bought my townhouse, my last rental didn’t have one and if was going to do a dishwasher installation project, I was updating everything. I saw before and after photos posted on the Dedham Connection FB page from Bryan’s company and hands down knew I had to go with him. I didn’t even bother inquiring to anyone else. I’m very pleased with the final product and even after buying new appliances, replacing toilet, vanity, etc the project for both came under my anticipated max budget. The guys made things right with final touch ups if discrepancies were found after the fact. Bryan even said if after some time passes and something isn’t right, to let him know. Highly recommend!

I would like to highly recommend Bryan Powell and his team at Powell Painting and Home Services for their excellent work painting the exterior of our old stucco home. When I left a message for Bryan on a Friday back in mid-March, he called back immediately and came out the following Monday to provide a detailed estimate. Despite the busy season and recent rain, Bryan and his team completed the job well within our expected timeline. Bryan was incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, keeping us informed of any weather-related schedule changes. His crew, led by Serpa, was polite, hardworking, and absolutely meticulous. We were especially impressed with the prep work that went into making our dilapidated garage look brand new. Upon completion, Bryan performed a final walkthrough to ensure we were 100% satisfied with the work. Highly recommend!

We had the most fantastic experience with Powell Painting and Home Services. From our initial phone call, we received a prompt response to any concerns we had. Communication was excellent, which is very important to us. Bryan is incredibly professional and showed up when he said he would, is organized and efficient, and most importantly, his team is friendly and highly skilled. I am pleased to write this review for the services I received from Powell Painting and Home services.  I had an old double door replaced with an Anderson slider, including replacing and painting the trim and wall. Bryan Powell and his crew arrived as scheduled, protective shielding was put up to protect my home and furniture from the work area.   Bryan remained in contact with me throughout the day and returned when it was realized that the store had sent out the wrong doors.  Bryan and the guys were very helpful in returning and resolving the mistake the store had made.  When the job was completed the work area was cleaned, vacuumed and all trash removed  from the property.
Thank you Bryan, I couldn't be happier with my new door and with the service provided by your crewmen.

Powell Painting did a great job doing carpentry work and staining our house and I would highly recommend them. They were meticulous and detail oriented, always on time and responsive, and offered solutions to fix the issues we were having, and did an amazing job executing them. Pricing-wise they were fair and you definitely get what you pay for, and the quality work they did was 100% worth the cost.

Our house is mainly cedar shingle siding with a small section of hardy board on the front. The cedar siding hadn't been stained in over 12 years and the shingles were dried out, curling, and some falling off. Powell Painting power washed the house and did a ton of carpentry work, replacing shingles, and nailing down all the loose and curled ones, and then stained and painted the house. The results made our beach-y looking and worn house look brand new! Couldn't be happier.

I can't say enough good things about Powell Painting and Home Services. They were quick to respond to my requests, coordinated to ensure that they understood my goals, worked professionally, and quickly and I am extremely happy with the results. They turned my moldy, flaking old deck into something I am proud to look at. Their guys worked hard in spite of extreme August heat, caused no collateral damage, and did a spotless cleanup. I won't hesitate to use them again.

I had several quotes for what I thought I needed, my exterior trim painted. While I got several quotes already I thought I would give Powell Painting a shot at quoting the job and I’m happy I did. Bryan, the owner came out to quote the job and called me and told me what I needed was for my for the vinyl to be cleaned better and not painted at all. This man was the ONLY honest person out of five companies. He helped me clean the trim and save a ton of money. Since we were able to save money on the trim we had Powell Painting repair and paint several other projects that needed paint. The work, the crew, the honesty was unparalleled to any other company we have done business with. This company will be my ONLY go to for my home and my business. HIGHLY recommend! Bryan came by within a day and gave us a VERY fair price, which was actually over $200 less than another estimate we had received. Powell Painting and Home Services performed a number of projects for me, including the renovation of my home office, wallpaper stripping, removal and replacing of carpeting, and interior painting. They also performed a large amount of exterior work, including house washing, removal and replacing of old wooden siding, carpentry repairs on 2 separate decks, installation of a new wooden gutter, and a large amount of exterior painting. We used Powell Painting and Home Services to paint the vaulted ceiling in our kitchen/dining/ living great room. Ceiling also needed some fairly big repairs. They did a great job. They covered everything to protect it and we didn’t have to move any furniture or clear counters. Their clean up was thorough— you would never know they were there. We are very happy with the whole experience.
