Don’t EVER work with Power Builders Group and its owner Elmar. Absolutely FRAUD. He took money and did finish the project . Each time I contacted him he just gave promises everything is under his control. But actually he did not care to work on my project.
Once he gets your money he is no longer interested in your project and doesn’t care you are spending on rental payments huge money while waiting him finish the project.
I wasted 7 months waiting when he finish the project, every time he was making up different stories. Didn’t care I need to pay my rent. This was ridiculous.
Power Builders Group and the owner are absolutely doing fraud. I have all the proofs and I am going to sue him.
He took my stuff out , and it was stolen.
Be aware of Power Builders Group and Elmar -

Well that was super hard to get some good company and to feel comfortable with them , as soon as I we meet the owners at the first meeting , witch we didn’t expect that , it was for. Deal after couple of hours , they just showed us how easy thinks will go , and this is how was in realty !!
So Happy to come home and to see my Beautiful kitchen , backyard ! And just to know about some energy efficient products we got . I’ll make if short :)

I had power builders group remodel my kitchen and remove a wall in order to create an open concept. They had an architect and engineer on their team who did all the work regarding the wall as well as help me figure out a design for my new kitchen and pull the pertaining permits. They completed the project about two weeks ago and so far everything looks great and is functioning perfectly. Their quality of work was the as promised the highest as possible and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest reliable contractor that gets the job done and not just talk or sell BS

Save your TIME and sanity and go with another contractor. We started with Elmar in May 2024 and 7 months later we are no where near completion. We had a 6 WEEK contract signed with him. We went with him for a COMPLETE KITCHEN REMODEL and 7 months later we do not have a kitchen in our home. The heart of the home. The cabinets were put in but we had to fight to get them done to our satisfaction as his "designer" REFUSED to work with us and help design what we wanted. She was being difficult and rude and told the cabinet installer to go with her incomplete design we were not on board with. We had to get Elmar to show up in person (back in July) to see the low quality design for him to acknowledge it looked bad and approve to change the look. It was absurd. After that, he pretty much has ghosted the job. Present day, we do not have a kitchen sink, plumbing for the sink or dishwasher, oven, island, stove, countertops or backsplash. We don't have a kitchen in our home and it's devastating. Elmar is deceitful and does not stand by his word. He says what you want to hear and does not follow through. Zero dedication or commitment to complete the job. He took our money and left us in this mess. He disappears for weeks on end and when my husband would try to get ahold him, Elmar will flat out ignore him day after day until he would finally respond via text (usually after 4-7 days) with- "oh ya, let me check." "Oh ya, I'll let you know. " just to shut us up. Then we won't hear from him again until WE reach out and the same cycle continues. We have leftover debris/trash in the side of our yard from 6 months ago that his guys never hauled it away. We have exposed wires coming from the ground in the kitchen area that was never safely covered. We are a family with young children and he has zero regard how this whole ordeal has negatively impacted our lives. We're treated like we do not matter and it's ok to lie to us over and over. Run far away and find an honest person to work with. Do not make our mistake as we are still regretfully waiting for our kitchen to be finished.
