Jesse Dawson from Powerhouse Contractors failed my home remodel project with shoddy work and a limited understanding of the building code, which cost me money in rework. His quality of workmanship was poor/non-existent, he delayed everything by weeks even months as he was focused on other projects, failed multiple home inspections, lied about delays, lied about where he was, blamed other people for his incompetence, overcharged, said he paid for materials and had them stored but was lying about it. He is skilled at listening to people and telling them what they want to hear, such as "I'll talk to that person and sort this out right away", but he ends up not doing anything at all or making it worse. His subs often told me that he doesn't know what he was doing, was trying to hide mistakes, and was not focused enough to complete jobs properly.

We had a disguisting experience with the guy Jesse Dawson and his entire crew of 2. The side of his truck and trailer say Powerhouse Contractors from Landing NJ. I would check him out through and through - a reputable contractor will only take enough money to start - and - get paid as he goes. (He takes money and never comes back to do the work) Most contractors will wait until they are finished to get the bulk of their money. He stole our money and left us with no where to live and no money to figure it out. He didn't just do a bad job or go over budget, he lied to us, stole our time, materials, destroyed our home, disspeared days at a time, and doesn't care about what he's done. I wish we could give him a rating of -5 he deserves it.

Jesse Dawson of Powerhouse is a crook!!!!!
Unfortunately, we used his services back in 2016/2017 to build an addition to our house in Randolph. He owes my family over $30,000 in materials and labor cost. Turns our that we are the 2nd family in the area he has screwed over with lies and broken promises!!!
He declared bankrupt so that no one can sue him, but sold his equipment to a buddy and is working under that umbrella. Trying to find our new name-will post
