My practice focuses primarily on custom residential work - remodels and new construction. I gravitated to this segment of the profession years ago because I found that there was tremendous satisfaction from working directly with the people who would ultimately be occupying the building. It tends to be require a very personal type of client-architect relationship that is not possible in most other design specialties. I believe my clients appreciate my attention to their needs as we are developing their design. I see my role in the design process as a facilitator - helping guide clients through the process and ending up with a design that is uniquely theirs.
