Precision Home Concepts left us high and dry after they collected $39,000 and nothing finished. They installed $10,000 worth of tile that had to be torn out. The shower was not waterproofed. The valves were also put in backwards. The tile over my fireplace on a 19' tall wall was not tied in and had to be torn down. The tile in the hearth had to be town down as well as the frame was barely attached to the wall. They also provided a false insurance contract where they changed the dates. They cost us approximately $50,000.
Response from Precision Home Concepts October 22, 2023This was a classic case of a dishonest homeowner that did not want to pay for the work that was done. I might add that it was discovered that this owner had done the same thing to other contractors in other states. They seem to move around, and commit fraud and theft wherever they go. They were very complimentary during the first several weeks of their project. The owner was even taking our crew out for barbeques lunches, etc. at least twice a week. Not sure why they would do that if they did not appreciate the work that was being done, unless of course, they knew all along that they were not going to pay the final couple payments of their contract, as they have done in the past. This is why contractors have the option of placing mechanics liens on properties where the owners refuse to pay We are fortunate enough to have many honest clients that appreciate the hard work and good quality that we have done for them over the years. They also understand that there are dishonest people out there that will go to great lengths to not have to pay for their services that they received. -

This was a wonderful company to work with. They were very knowledgeable about the work we wanted done, the crew presented themselves in a professional manner, and the end result of our project was above and beyond what we imagined it would be.

Had a really bad experience with PHC and Kris. Had to fire Kris after too many broken promises. Crew works maybe 3-6 hours per week. He lost a few subs during our project because he wouldn’t pay them. He poured our front concrete porch the wrong color and wrong stamp. He tried to complete the project without a permit. I made him obtain proper permit and it took him another 6 weeks. He is hardly ever on site of your project and then will want checks made out to him personally instead of his business. Don’t sign his contract that states payment is due each Friday once work begins no matter how much work has actually been performed. I have all the emails and texts if anybody would like to contact me about my experience.
