If I could give zero stars I would.

He will take ur money and never finish the job. Beware. Sorry I didn’t find this out until it was too late. I now know of 3 other people he has scammed just this year. Red flags: no Facebook company page, does not return calls timely, does not put specifics on contract, takes half of the money up front, hires sketchy help.

Took our money liar and thief. Doesn’t return phone calls. Has a different story each week. Never received pool. Wont return emails. Don’t do it

Dealing with Phil Fox of Precision Pools has been an absolute nightmare! He took deposit of $8,000 & didn't show up for months leaving us freaking! He won't answer calls & constantly lies. He FINALLY finished our pool but it's almost January & we still don't have our pool cover or solar blanket as included in our contract. If someone has a physical address, please post bc we want to take to court. I've never experienced such stress!!!

I wish I would have read these reviews before handing $4250 to this person.
From my experience with him, he has earned all of the negative reviews. The positive reviews have obviously been planted.
Once he got the deposit, he has only returned one call to say he was running a week behind.
After the week passed, no return calls.
So I’m assuming I’ll see him in court.

Our pool has had a slow leak for a couple of years but this year when we filled it, it dropped 3 inches overnight we were shocked and with our liner only 5 years old we hoped it didn't have a leak. We called Precision Pools Wv and talked to Phill he told us he could pressure test the lines to find the leak. He scheduled us for 2 days later. When Phill got there he and his helper plugged the returns and the skimmer and tested them they are fine after those it was time for the bottom drain. Phill had to dive down and remove the cover before it could be plugged this took him only a few dives then he plugged and tested it the drain tested bad. We had him leave the plug in until Sept we will have him replace it then. We are very happy with Phill's knowledge and professionalism totally recommened

We needed a new liner our was torn in the corners. We called Precision pools and talked to Phill. He came out the next afternoon and gave us a price on the liner and installation, he was cheaper then anyone else so we hired him. After he took out the old liner there were some rough spots and a few holes. He fixed those for free. The liner has never looked or the bottom felt better. Now I wish I had had him paint the coping for a brand new pool look. SO SO PLEASED Thank you Precision Pools and Mr. Fox

Our liner was floating and out all around the pool and it looked horrible. We thought we would need a liner and who knew what else. We called Phill and he came out the next afternoon looked over the pool and told us not to worry he could save our liner. We were overjoyed. He placed a pump in the pool and the next day he finished draining the pool, pulled the liner back cleaned under it and reseated the liner and filled it. You cant even tell how terrible it was, it looks as good or better then first installed We couldn't be more pleased Thank you Phill

My gas bill was extremely high. I had a check done by the gas company and found I had a leak. I contacted a contractor who told me it would be around 2.400.00 to replace the line. Mr. Fox has worked on my pool for about 15 years and done a few other jobs for me always wonderful results. My wife called and he came out that afternoon and told my wife that he could run a line thru the old one in a day and a half and not dig up the yard for 1.100.00. We hired him and he started two days later and finished the next day, he even lit the water heater and furnace. We couldn't be happier or warmer lol thank you Mr. Fox

We have a heated indoor pool and we had a very cold snap, our power went out then the generator malfunctioned. With out power the pump, heater and the lines froze. We called Mr. Fox and the next morning he was there, he replaced the heat exchanger, pump housing and replaced the frozen pipes in 1 day *** Highly Recommended***

My husband bought me a spa for Christmas and Phill did a wonderful job installing it. He did the plumbing and electric I couldn't be happier with his work. Enjoying my spa and I am hoping to enclose it soon. very satisified

Phillip Fox is a crook! We gave him a check for $1250 to order a cover for our in ground swimming pool. We never heard from him again. I should have researched this crook/liar. He was out on bond for stealing money from another victim when he came to our house in Wayne County to steal from us.
We were told to obtain his physical address to have him served and arrested for theft from us while out on bond. We have his physical address. This crook/thief/liar will answer for his crimes.

I think this sums up everything you need to know about Phil Fox and Precision Pools. This was in the Herald Dispatch 7/27: LESAGE - The following information was provided by criminal complaints from Cabell County Magistrate Court:

FRAUD: A contractor representing a construction firm in Lesage is accused of failing to construct a pool after receiving an $11,300 down payment more than 11 months ago.

Phillip R. Fox, 56, of Lesage, is charged with felony fraudulent schemes, according to criminal complaints from Cabell County Magistrate Court

Quite a few people are out substantial money including myself. If you are foolish enough to work with him, assuming he eventually gets out and retains his license, you have no one to blame but yourself.

Mr. Fox has done a wonderful job remodeling our pool we were amazed at his skill at knowing what to do by burying a pump in the bottom to stop our water problems with the liner floating very pleased with his work

This individual is the absolute worst I've ever dealt with. Always claims he needs more money, refuses to provide copies of invoices, disappears for weeks at a time and won't return calls. No physical address for an office? Can't imagine anyone having a positive experience with this person. I suspect the recent high ratings are planted, but regardless, I will have my day in court with Mr. Fox very, very soon. Buyer beware!!! This outfit is not worth the heartache you'll get!

Mr. Fox installed our new 16x32 pool and we couldn't be happier. All our friends said it was a lot of work keeping up a pool but with the recommendation from Mr. Fox we had a salt chlorination system installed and with our navigator pool cleaner they couldn't have been more wrong it has been a breeze to keep our pool crystal clear less then an hour a week maintaining the pool. Highly Recommended

We haven't even gotten started and he has a lot of our money! I would give him 0 stars if I could. He is very hard to get in contact with after you put money down. We are now going to court since it has been 9 months since we paid the "deposit" for the pool. We are upset that our 4 kids won't get the pool this summer. He is a liar and a crook. He always has several excuses when you can get in touch with him. Do not be ignorant as we were!
