Premier General Contractors

This is not a reputable guy. Permit never obtained but excuse after excuse as to why he takes so long. Still waiting to here back from DBPR in regards to the complaint we filed against his license since counties cannot go after this guy because he is state licensed. He also has several complaints from clients where he has taken money and no work performed. He has several civil lawsuits against him for money he has stolen without completing any of the work. Do yourself a favor, use another company and save yourself the headache. If you have been ripped off by this guy contact your local police and file a report against him and this company.

Premier created an addition on my mother's home. Mike is also going to work with us to create a much easier to get around design fo her kitchen. It's wonderful to have a reliable, considerate team aware of their clients. They are friendly and supportive of our desire to make her home more aging independent friendly too. It is fantastic.

A good bathroom is a nice thing, but two is fantastic. We hired a great team when we worked with Mike and the plans were delivered. They did a great job. I love the look and feel of our bathrooms.

My favorite room in the house is now my guest bedroom. The whole remodel was amazing. They put a new bathroom in and made sure it was accessible for my mother who is moving in there. We're going to have Mike and his team do our bedroom later this year too.

Heartfelt thanks for working so well with our insurance company. It was pretty evident that most of the work I mention was on the side of Premier and did not come from our insurance company. Regardless after some pretty hefty storm damage, we felt implementing some upgrades along with the necessary repairs would be a good idea. Everything is solid again and looking better than ever.

As proud of our home as we were, our backyard was lackluster in comparison. Time to call in Mike and his contractors to remedy that. I’m not good with a camera and even worse with attempting to post what I do shoot but if you could see the patio and fireplace they graced our outdoor space with, you would be impressed. My words will have to suffice I guess.

While I am rightfully here to express my satisfaction regarding the upgrades to our bathroom and kitchen in advance of putting our home on the market, I feel I need to mention that each and every contractor Mike works with as well as all of his own staff deliver the same level of professionalism that he does himself.

I chose to work with Premier General due to their local reputation for ingenuity and quality standards and ethics. Our kitchen is the center of our multi-family gatherings each holiday. Mike genuinely listened to what we wanted and his design is flawless.

We added a mudroom to our home using Premier General Contractor. The high-quality materials used were aesthetically pleasing, durable, and well constructed.

Premier GC's did such a great job rennovating our kitchen. It was so old and dated and overdue for a facelift. Now we have a modern kitchen with all new appliances. The work was high quality and the crew was nice and professional.

Outdoor living is the best kind of living for our family. We had a vision for our yard that kept getting put on hold when priorities ate what we had been saving for it. We learned that Premier was able to help us in getting the financial assistance we needed to make it happen and decided to go for it. The amount of time we will spend enjoying and entertaining in our yard made it worth every penny.

We had found the home of our dreams but were tasked with the remodeling of both the bathroom and the kitchen before putting ours on the market. Knowing that these two items alone would add so much value to the home, we wanted to be sure the job was done right. I must say that the difference they were able to bring about almost had us wanting to stay in the home. Well not really but you get my point.

Is there a 0 star option? Premier General Contractors was hired in June 2020 to resolve simple permit issues that a licensed general contractor could have easily resolved. Instead, this company ran off with our money and did absolutely nothing. To date, the permits were never issued and it's been over 90 days since any action has been taken by this company despite the City of Homestead clearly stating in their online system the actions needed to resolve the permit issues. Finally, as homeowners, we got desperate and wound up resolving the majority of issues ourselves by simply following their directions, calling them, emailing them, and following up - everything Premier General Contractors and Mr. Pekel the company owner should have been doing from day one. Mr. Pekel is a sweet talker but consumer beware. In our case, the money given to this company was in essence stolen and the company went missing in action and fails to respond to calls, emails, and text messages.... all of which have been professional. I am sure Mr. Pekel will find the time to respond to this unlike almost 5 months of not communicating with the City of Homestead or this consumer. Do yourself a favor, find a reputable general contractor that doesn't sweet talk you, but rather delivers real results.
