Unfortunately I’ve had the same exact experience as everyone else. Zero communication and we’re on month 9 of a simple home build and not close to done. He didn’t even start on the home for months after closing. We can’t get him to return calls, he promises one thing but delivers another, seems annoyed anytime you make a request or ask a question.
I really wish we’d gone with someone else.

Over the years we’ve built 3 homes all pleasant experiences until we built with Premier Homes – our experience with this “custom” home builder was the most traumatic 16 months of our lives. We feel like we need therapy for PTSD after being in his clutches for over a year. Every review currently on the internet is true – this builder is NOT a man of his word. The reason the reviews are anonymous is because the builder is a very vindictive person. He will promise you will be in your home 90 days after the permits have been issued, not true. It will take at least a year for him to complete your home. He is counting on you believing his 90 day promise in the hopes you will sell your current home and then be desperate to get into the new home and thus allowing him to take shortcuts. You are told that his homes include upgrades that other builders do also not true. Most of the lights in our home are low builder grade from Lowes. The faucets are also cheap builder grade. You couldn’t buy a decent refrigerator with the entire kitchen allowance he allots. The granite allowance is not enough to purchase even the lowest grade of granite for your home. Tiling and flooring options, I’ve seen better in in mobile homes. Every builder we’ve worked with in the past has held a walk-thru several times during build processes – you are lucky if this builder shows up to the final walk through. When he makes one of his many mistakes he will never admit it is HIS mistake, instead he will try and pit spouses against each other and if he can’t blame a spouse he will blame a sub-contractor. He will NEVER admit when HE is wrong, and he is wrong quite often. Not one exterior door in our home fits correctly; the same is true with most of the interior doors. Many of the extra items we paid for were not in the home when we moved in. I am not sure how on earth his homes pass inspection; the county inspectors must be incompetent. Even the lots themselves are graded incorrectly causing flooding issues after move in. If you dare to try and point out issues or call him on his lies he will lock you out of your house and tell you that if you enter the house before closing you are trespassing (which by the way is illegal – if you purchased the lot at the construction loan closing you CAN enter the house anytime you please). Throughout the process your home will be filthy; they don’t even cover the floors to protect them after installation. If you visit a neighborhood with him and notice that fences look shabby, lakes dirty or any other neighborhood issue don’t believe the line “oh all that will be taken care of before your home is completed” rest assured when you move in the fence will be falling down and the lakes will be nastier than ever. Worst of all, our home could never be sold for what we now have invested and we were recently told by a realtor that if we ever put our house on the market it would be best not to mention who built it due to his ever growing negative reputation. Many sub-contractor’s in the area are now refusing to work with this builder, one of the local home appraiser’s told us they would soon be refusing to work with him as well. His mother works in the office for him and he will disrespect her to her face in front of other customers (that alone should tell you all you need to know).

I selected 1 star because zero wasn't an option. Very poor quality work, never around to over see the build. Lies apon lies and if you catch him red handed ken will still deny it. Worst experience of my life.

Only 5 employees run this home builder.Builder promises in 90-120 days but takes 1 yr.Sloppy contractors leave over spray, concrete, paint drips, you name it.Light shines thru all inside doors to bedrooms making sleep difficult.Would advise not to use.Look for other reviews on the internet to back this up.

Customer service was terrible. There was a horrible lack of communication from the builder. He over-promised on the length of build time (he said it would not take more than 90 days and we finally took ownership after 391 days). His crew was sloppy and left trash throughout the yard. The house was filthy when I took possession and I had to spend hours cleaning out dirt and construction debris. My doors are not installed correctly - light can be seen through the exterior doors. The only thing I can say is that I learned a lot about the importance of customer service and communication from this experience.

We wanted to renovate our home before the occasion of my parents' silver jubilee anniversary. We tried to incorporate new technologies according to modern times. My uncle told me about Premier Homes and we contacted them. They immediately responded to our call and started designing our new updated home. The smooth wall texture finish, Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors with battery backup, walk-in pantry in kitchen, full vanity width mirrors, garage door opener with two remotes, and one-year renewal termite bond all appears to be in the dream. We hosted a party last month and got so many compliments from family and friends that assured us of our best decision. Thanks to Premier Homes for updating our homes.
