Premier Roofing & Exteriors

We had a new roof put on our home this spring and I cannot say enough about the professionalism and quality of Premier Roofing and Exteriors of Grand Rapids. First of all, I am an extreme perfectionist and very meticulous. We have had considerable construction projects done at our home and it is almost impossible to find companies that do a decent, quality job in this day and age. They all just want to get in, get the job done, move on and leave the customer living with shoddy workmanship.
Spending the money for a new roof, especially on a retirement income, is not a decision that is taken lightly. Our home is a large, sprawling ranch so the cost was significant. However, I cannot say enough about the quality, workmanship, attention to detail and professionalism of Premier Roofing. We interviewed and researched numerous companies before settling on Premier. Jared initially came to the house in late summer of 2024. He was upbeat, professional, and extremely accommodating. No high-pressure sales, only honest answers to our questions and concerns. He was very patient with us and our situation. It wasn’t until the winter of 2024 that we made our final decision. By then it was too cold to put a roof on.
So, in the spring of 2025 a team of 8 men arrived and did a fantastic job of tearing off the old roof and putting a new roof on our house in only three days! All highly skilled, friendly, and extremely hard working. I was amazed they were able to accomplish the task in that amount of time. They did a masterful job of keeping the property neat and free from debris as they worked. They put in 12 or more hours a day! Clay was the project supervisor, and Orlando was the team manager. Both did an outstanding job making sure everything was organized and done to our expectations. They asked multiple times if there was anything we wanted changed or done differently.
Sadly, two special rhododendrons I planted in memory of my parents were damaged. Jared and Clay made sure they were replaced, no questions asked. Which I deeply appreciated. The gutters and downspouts were put back on in better shape than when they were removed and a piece of siding had blown off in the high winds. Jarad came back out and reattached it on his own time. Jared and everyone involved were on top of all aspects of the job. They both returned upon completion for a final inspection and made sure all work had been completed to our standards and satisfaction. A pleasant, appreciated, and unusual scenario in today’s environment.
Our next project is new siding, and, without a doubt, Premier Roofing will be doing the job. Not going to even consider anyone else. As I initially stated, I cannot say enough about the quality, professionalism, and service we received from Premier Roofing. I HIGHLY, HIGLHY recommend them!
