The owner of Premier Asphalt, Frank Stanko, came out and quoted us for a concrete patio. He was super personable and said he had a lot of experience and showed us pics of his work etc. & Originally, he was quick to respond.
After giving us a formal proposal/contract, He and his guys came out here and started the work. They were all very nice … we bought them lunch.
At the end of the day he said he’d come back the next day to finish and clean up.
Our mistake was we paid him the final balance when he showed up the next day. (Apparently he disappeared right after he got the $)
Because the concrete was still wet, we didn’t realize that his work was SO INCREDIBLY AWFUL … there is concrete splatter on the siding, uneven and unfinished concrete, 3’’ instead of 4’’, he capped one of our sprinkler heads (which cost us more $ for (our amazing) sprinkler guy to fix), he didn’t have the waste management bag picked up that was included in the cost (we have to pay extra now for that too), … the issues keep building.
He didn’t clean up or fix anything he said he would. And then he kept making excuses why he wasn’t coming back to fix it, and why he wasn’t returning our calls - - including truck breaking down (twice), an out of town wedding, having family members in the hospital;
every day another emergency why he didn’t show up. And now he doesn’t pick up or return calls/ texts.Adding pics to share. Don’t want anyone else to fall for his charm & get the same horrible work done.
