Prestige Construction & Design - San Jose

I contacted Prestige Construction & Design after my online research about them and I wanted to have them quote me for the kitchen remodeling and so far I am very happy with my decision. Tom scheduled an in house meeting with me at my house and during the meeting, he was able to really understand what I’m looking for and want to have. More than that he set up several additional meetings and went over the designs just to make sure that I will get what I want and even more. Tom and the working crew always provided me with great advice and I am looking forward to keep hiring them in the future for more and more remodeling projects.

Prestige Construction & Design did a complete remodeling project of our kitchen and two full bathrooms. The work included new cabinets, marble counter tops and raising the lower ceiling in kitchen by 2’, removed all the popcorn ceiling around the house, fix the necessary spots at the ceiling & paint, installing new tile floors in the living room, dining room and entry hall, installation of ceiling fan w/lights in all rooms including all the bedrooms and replace the fireplace/mantel. Repaint all the interior walls. The whole design was done by the designer of the company and she did a perfect job. After the work was completed and done, I can say that this was a top notch work that was done by professional people. The new cabinets are particularly excellent and they fit like a glove and added so much beauty to my kitchen. The job took few weeks longer than what Tom estimated at the time of reviewing and planning the work schedule, the delay made sense because of few problems that they found out after the demolition of the walls and due to a minor delay with the supply of the cabinets and marble top (which is normal and things happened during this type of big remodeling projects). Tom communications skills were excellent and even with my list for minor things that needed his attention & correction upon completion. Tom did fixed all the items without any problem and with a lot of professionalism.

I found Prestige Construction & Design online as I was researching for concept ideas for my kitchen remodeling project that I wanted to do for a while now. Tom was the person we met with and he help us to make a decision of either upgrade the kitchen or to do a complete remodeling and start from scratch. After several meetings, we decided to go with the upgrade option and to give a face lift up to the kitchen. We were very pleased with the results of the work and mainly because they kept the project in budget and delivered us exactly what we wanted. Our house was cleaned everyday which was very helpful because we lived in our home during the construction. Our project manager - Tom worked great with both of us and he was easy person to talk to and he never hesitate to come over if we needed him. We do recommend Prestige Construction & Design for any remodeling job! Prestige Construction & Design are absolutely great people.

We hired Prestige Construction & Design to our total kitchen remodel including few other extra tasks such as:
- installing a strong recirculating pump for the hot water.
- upgrading and relocating the electrical box.
- replacing the existing carpet and install new hardwood floors around the house.
Tom from Prestige Construction & Design was excellent with his ideas & help including his foreman while his directions made our remodeling project much less stressful than we thought it will be. The office manager Kim was in-charged on all the paperwork and she did a wonderful job by coordinating, communicating, handling all the paperwork while the working crew were prompt, responsive, & skilled. The whole remodeling project took 6 weeks from the beginning to the end. The main thing about this remodeling work which was the final price… was very fair compare to the level of comfort & trust that we had with Prestige Construction & Design was worth it.

Tom at Prestige Construction & Design was recommended to me by my sister who had hired him and his workers to remodel her house. This was our first time of remodeling a house after a very long time since we hired someone for any type of remodeling and I didn’t know absolutely nothing about what to do, what to expect or where to start. From the first meetings that we had with Tom, we got a realistic opinion about how to start, what to do and how things should be completed. During the entire remodeling, they were communicating with us very often and answered to any of our requests or questions throughout the work. They did bring our dream and vision come to reality. We just completed our remodeling project with Prestige Construction & Design. From the very first meeting, we knew they would be able to make our visions and needs come true. Our remodeling project was not an easy task with new design of the existing layout of the kitchen and bathrooms. With the help of their designer, they were able to generate an amazing open floor plan. I must mention that during the work, we were always able to get a hold of Tom when we had questions or loud thoughts. Weekly updates were given to us about any progress of the work and when and problem came up with a relevant solution. With this expansion of the space, the conversion of the kitchen to the living room was just an amazing thing to do and the house look much bigger and brighter. The work was completed in 6 weeks only and Overall, we are very happy with all the people from Prestige Construction & Design team that were part of our remodeling and we are in love with every aspect of our new look of the house.

We hired Prestige Construction & Design for our house remodeling project after meeting, talking, interviewing and gathering few quotes and designs from all the other companies for our kitchen, guest bathroom, master bedroom and bathroom remodeling project. We are very happy with the quality of the materials that were selected and with the work and service that was provided to us by Prestige Construction & Design (mainly Tom). From the design, installation and the working team aspect of the company -- they were all took extra pride at the work and service that they provided and it clearly shows in the final results! We could not be happier with everything they did for our home and we already talked about our next remodeling part at the house that will include the laundry room, garage and hardscape and we are planning on having them remodeling that next! They were great to work with!

Hiring Prestige Construction & Design and working with Tom was a pleasure! On the first meeting that we had, I was impressed with his attention, although I was "only searching for a contractor for my kitchen". The 2nd meeting, Tom came over with a detailed plan of the new kitchen including the design of it.

I would like to share my appreciation to Tom and his people from Prestige Construction & Design for the great kitchen that they remodeled at my house. Tom designed and implemented the new kitchen based on my vision and budget. His big experience and knowledge represent the quality of the new kitchen that included new cabinets, Paint, Counter top, Sink, Faucet and all the new lights. I hired this company to remodel my kitchen at the house. After I met with Tom, I decided to replace all the pipes at the house to have my house more "green". The kitchen include replacement of all the cabinets, counter tops, take off a wall and expand it. The design that I got from Tom was pretty good and very professional. I loved all the details that the design included. The re piping was the hard part because a lot of walls had to be broken and repaired including touch ups of paint. Part of the plumbing work was to remove the water heater and to install a thankless system. During the work, I had at the house close to 7 people on a daily basis. Each one worked on something else. This was great because it was completed on the fastest way and I don't recall any problem or issue with any of the workers. Tom is a very nice guy. He know what he is doing, he handled the workers pretty good and he always looked on the details of each thing that they did. Overall, I’m happy with the results.

Honestly….. We had a truly pleasure for hiring Prestige Construction & Design and having Tom remodel our kitchen and the entry of our house. Tom and his team, did a wonderful remodeling job that started with a draft design and ended with a complete remodeling. We now have a new kitchen that have lots of storage space and new layout! At the entry of the house, he replaced the existing door with a larger one and he removed a wall that expand that space while merging it beautifully into the living room area. The overall price was a bit above my budget because we did some modifications to the design after we started the remodeling and we completely agreed to it and the end results are truly worth it. We highly recommended Prestige Construction & Design and the working people that did our remodeling.

We re-modeled our kitchen with the great help of Tom. In addition to the kitchen remodeling, we decided also to refinish the old damaged hardwood floors around the house. Tom was well-spoken, skilled and honest while he spent an excessive amount of time with us in order to advise and guide us about the process of the remodeling work on top of explaining each and every step of the work. Prestige Construction & Design SF did a wonderful remodeling job while maintaining a fairly price. This was our first involvement with a contractor for a remodeling project and it was an easy and positive one.
