Company installed a new bath tub and stone floor. What happened?? Where do I start. During tub install, Prestige did not connect the overflow pipe correctly which resulted in major water damage in bathroom and ceiling in living room below. Prestige was not willing to make repairs, I had to hire another company thru my insurance to make proper repair which included overflow pipe, drywall replace in ceiling below, repaint ceiling. Repair new stone floor in bathroom that was damaged by water.
Prestige also did not install bathroom porcelain stone correctly, they simply laid it right onto the sub floor which caused the stones to just randomly pop up at the corners.
My home owners insurance covered the cost of all the repairs then went to Prestige's insurance to recoup the cost.
The rep from Prestige was very nice to talk to and seemed to know what he was doing, they also showed good reviews which could be misleading, but the work done was awful and very poor.
Please do NOT use Prestige Home Remodel from Gaithersburg, MD.
