Working with Paul Prete and company was an absolute nightmare. His prices are ever changing and that’s when we (the customers) we’re not making additional changes to any plans. He is a seemingly honest at first but his demeanor changes once he locks in funds. He told us a 1700 sq ft home without a basement or fireplace would cost us close to $400k. We questioned this and asked if this included land, which we had not discussed at that time and he told us no it did not. My husband told him he was crazy and asked for Paul Prete to list out exactly what we were getting, Prete soon backtracked and started saying he could put some extras in without any additional charge. He came in way over our budget and was not giving us anything special. He quotes scripture like he’s a televangelist but is quite deceptive in his business dealings. Please avoid him and his company.
