This is a father and son organization. My husband and I chose this company because they are small and family owned, big mistake!!! If you want a home built find someone else. To the best of our knowledge, our home is structurally sound. We have built 3 homes in the past and we can honestly say this was the worst experience we have ever gone trough. First and foremost we never could communicate with the builder, Richard Price was completely out of the picture, when we first met he gave us his personal phone number, when the construction started and afterwards we could never reach him via text messages or phone. Between the first contact with this company, salesman, the builder, his son, and all the contractors he hires, we have been ignored and at times treated with a really belligerent attitude. And if they tell you that you have a one year warranty on the home, good luck getting anything fixed. Phone requests get ignored certified letters never got answered. This is a small subdivision, and nearly every home (14) has drainage issues, and they don't want to spend the time or money to correct it. There are many other issues that are simply ignored. We believe in giving our business to small companies, but in this case it was a big mistake.
Response from Price Family Homes Inc September 13, 2021It is funny how the only mention of her beautiful custom home is it is 'structurally sound.' It seems to me that the home is a good deal more than that. I count myself fortunate and a testament to the quality of the homes we build that the only thing Maria Horner has found to complain about is some small ponding in her backyard. The drainage is great, it handled the 3 inches of rain from the last storm without an issue. We offered to pay to fix it the way she wants and spread a little dirt around but honestly I think she's just happy to have something to be bothered about. I admit I have treated her with a bit of a bemused attitude, although my staff has been nothing but professional with her. We appreciate the feedback and will continue to work to improve ourselves.
