STAY FAR AWAY - The company is operated by the Stevens Family - Mark, Robert (Bob), Peter... the Stevens' are career and multi-generational scammers. They did our driveway last year under the company name All American Asphalt & Construction, LLC. They have a multitude of prior company names, all listed under the ownership of a different Stevens family member and company name (i.e., American Paving Construction, Allied Paving, Arrow Sealcoating and Paving, B&S sealcoating & Paving, Garden State Paving and Construction, Just Rite Paving and Sealcoating, P&S Paving & Sealcoating, etc.). You can look all of these up on The Division of Consumer Affairs license search function or an internet search.
They have a myriad of negative reviews and lawsuits associated with prior company names. They get over on customers and, it seems when they get negative reviews, lawsuits, etc., they change their company name and the owners name so they can keep on operating and scamming. Peter, the last named owner, has five Consumer Fraud Complaints filed against him because of the work they did at our house, and his attempts to simply ignore our efforts to resolve the issues. Our DCA Office of Consumer Protection investigator advised me that he is familiar with the family and, Bob, in particular, due to prior complaints. They are not professional, they're rude, they don't answer or return calls, especially for repairs, and they do very sub-par work. I wish I could include pictures but I can't. There were weeds growing through the asphalt within a week, the asphalt was about an inch less thick than it was supposed to be, roots coming through, cracking/breaking on the edges, poor drainage, very crooked lines, they put a dump truck through our wall, causing about $9,000 in damage (and then investigated for insurance fraud by Progressive), they broke our concrete pad, they leave a mess for you to clean up, and they do not follow through with their "guarantee" or their word. Please don't work with any company owned by a Stevens
