I am writing this review to help individuals who are considering hiring Prime Construction LLC for their next renovation. Please hire some other company.
I hired Michael Penn as the GC on my whole house renovation. Amongst numerous complaints here is one: I have documentation of me paying him $5,000 to purchase a new furnace which he took for himself and gave me a used and damaged furnace which I now will have to replace. Many items I paid for “disappeared” in which I believe he was getting refunds (to pay himself extra) for and then claiming they were stolen so I could purchase more. I have lost so much money on this project.
Now that I am having other more trustworthy contractors finishing this house, all of them confirm he did not know what he was doing or perhaps did not care.
The drive way I paid thousands in material for he had to redo twice over and it is still not only incomplete but will likely crack in the next year.
To put the cherry on top when I told him to pause the work 8 months into the project due to financial issues caused by his negligence he had his workers go to my property without my knowledge or consent stealing the rest of my materials and then damaging my property.
