When he did our windows in 2010 we had to wait a couple of weeks for start to get in widows which for this I removed 1 star from rating for. However, He and his worker did a great job overall and were timely each time they were at my home in the installation process. I had half my windows done at August and then the other half in October. Lastly, I have to ding them 1 more star for not checking back with us since we did not have the Bay window done and they did not notify us of change of phone or refer someone to go to for replacement windows if they went out of business.

I also met the owner of Prime Windows of Rocky Hill, CT at a home show in 2013. He was the only person who had samples of windows and great knowledge of his product. He contacted us in a timely fashion and installed our windows in Nov. of 2013.
BUT, we are STILL MISSING the frame to our kitchen window.. It is now 5 months after the fact and he has not responded to us again. We have hired another contractor and the installation was done within 5 days. I am very disappointed with the owner of the company for not contacting us, we have been more than patient.
We are also missing our shutters that were promised.
Think we should be looking for a refund.

I met the owner at a home show and out of all the booths I visited that day he was the ONLY one who explained the process to me, as a first time homeowner and not being very knowledgeable in this area, I was very impressed by this. He gave me no nonsense answers to my questions and didn't use the typical 'salesman' lingo I got from many other companies. I saw that he had some negative reviews and I called him and asked him to explain... he was upfront and honest and I felt very at ease hiring this company to replace all the windows in my new home. When they came to install my windows they were on time, professional and worked hard and got the job done in under two days (even with a specialty garden window). The quality of their work was top notch. Dont always believe what you read, these guys were great and sell a great product.

I hired this contractor because he claimed to be top notch and have access to a state loan that could assist in paying for my windows. After installing the windows, I called him with some issues I found and he promised to come out within a week and fix them....never did. Multiple calls were placed and excuses kept coming......2 years later...the windows are STILL leaking! He also didn't complete the job. I paid him to recover a few windows that I was not replacing as well as install gutter guards (he claimed he needed money upfront to pay for supplies). He told me the day he installed the windows that he was ordering the supplies and would be back as soon as they were in to cover the other windows and install the gutter guards....2 years later this still hasn't happened. Multiple phone calls and messages have been sent to him only to be dodged, ignored or be responded with lies and excuses. I am beyond frustrated and do not have the money to hire someone else to come complete the job he was paid to do. I am happy with the windows they installed for the most part (except for the 2 basement windows that are leaking a little that they never fixed) but I am not happy they took my money and never finished the job and from what I have read from multiple other sites I am not the only one they have done this to.
