In my career a project was considered a success if it finished on time, within budget and to requirements. Our bathroom remodel by Primework Construction easily met all three criteria. But saying that does not give their work the full recognition it deserves. Those requirements down to the last detail were noted in the contract by Guy. The crew was uniformly pleasant and friendly. Ben And Joni, Crew Chief, kept me informed every step of the way. All my questions large and small were answered. It was obvious that Alan had a passion for the tile work as he took care to place the tiles correctly and in the most pleasing way. Daniel did a fine job of painting and lending a hand where needed. The inevitable glitches were met promptly. And last, their recommended glass provider did an excellent job. The job was completed within 4 weeks beating their initial forecast and every item requested was completed just as I asked.

Primework successfully remodeled a bathroom in my condo. What stood out was his detailed estimate, daily punctuality, cleanliness during construction, frequent updates, and timely conclusion of the project.

I would like to thank Ben, Joni and the crew for a great job with our remodeling and the patience with us last year! My husband and I never had any experience in remodeling process. After explaining our plans to Ben, he literally walked us through the process of obtaining permit - that we needed an engineer and an architect. That road was very bumpy with stops, turns and delays and we were worried that our contractor would start another project... But they were so understanding and patient with us, Val came to our meetings with the engineer to make sure everybody is on the same page! All our phone calls and emails were answered same day, even at times late in the night due to our work schedule! And once the work began, Joni and his guys weren’t just doing the job - they really cared what would work best for us - recomended us which stores to go and things to get and at times they would get supplies picked by themselves! They also got us registered on WhatsUp app for communication which works great - with picture updates as well:) Our remodeling was completed on time as we discussed at the beginning which is a huge plus!

They made the whole process smoother and we couldn’t be happier!

We are so lucky that we went with Primework for our bathroom remodel. They are really professional and timely with their work, while also being easy-going and adaptable. They are super nice and that goes a long away because you will generally be seeing your contractors pretty often during a job. They are really familiar with SF homes and left my bathroom looking both modern and timeless. Also, the guys they contract for plumbing, tile, etc, were wonderful as well. I plan to reach out to them for future renovation jobs!

Primework did a great job throughout a fairly complicated kitchen remodel. They were communicative, clear, and helpful when issues arose. Though we ended up being delayed past our original completion date, that was largely due to causes outside of Ben & the team's control. Highly, highly recommended if you're looking for a quality remodel.

Primework Construction worked on a second-floor, tiled patio that was not draining properly and leaked down into my garage. They did an amazing job! They finished the project on schedule and budget, and handled all the permits and inspections. The team was respectful of my home during the project and the quality of their work is excellent. Ben helped me with a major home renovation in San Francisco, including building a large horizontal addition from excavation through to drywall, including all of the foundation, rough framing, rough electrical, rough plumbing, mechanical, and roofing work, totalling about 800 sqft of new space and 400 sqft remodeling. This is a long overdue review for Ben, Joni, and the rest of their team worked on a double bath/kitchen remodel for us last summer, and they were wonderful! We got several bids for the project through Buildzoom, and Ben immediately impressed us with his detailed cost estimate and friendly, easygoing, yet professional demeanor. Both Ben and Oriana were really helpful in making suggestions to improve the project while still allowing us to make the decisions--and it helps that they know the houses well in our neighborhood, the Sunset. It was Konstantin's idea to divide our very large bathroom + water closet into two bathrooms, which has worked wonderfully, increasing the functionality and the market value of our home.
We had heard horror stories about remodels going way over time and over budget; Ben and his team were exactly on target for both. As others have mentioned, they use WhatsApp to keep you apprised of every facet of the project and how things are progressing, and they check with you about everything, so there are no surprises.
By the end of our project, Ben, Joni, Oriana felt like family. I was almost sad to have it be over (!) but thrilled with the results... and since SIP has begun, so grateful to have a nice space at home. We went to them again for a quick laundry room refresh, and are already looking forward to our next home project with them.

We renovated our kitchen and bathroom in Outer Sunset with Primework Construction. It was pretty tough because we decided to do a renovation with a newborn thinking it would be easy (which it isn’t!) but Ben and Joni made it easier for us. They were very responsive, communicative, and really cared about our project. We worked with primework for a whole house refresh. Flooring, paint, electrical, termite work and new fixtures. Primework had great communication and provided multiple different options based on our budget. Ben was flexible as the project grew and evolved. We will be using him again for future projects!

I found Primework's Ben to be easy to talk to, respectful, and most importantly knowledgeable. We discussed many small items and my leaking shower to coordinate the sale of our home. My start timeline changed, and Ben was able to accommodate my new schedule, which was very important since everything else was dependent on this work. After breaking open our tile shower while I was present, we decided the whole shower would need to be replaced due to the nature of the leaking. Ben reviewed my options with me, and even with my change order his team worked extra time to stay on my schedule. I would not hesitate to use Primework Construction again in the future.

When we had a project delay (the delay was not within Primework’s control), they were flexible and adjusted the timeline. Throughout the whole project, Art and Andrey communicated with us using Google Hangouts so we were always able to get a reply to questions. In addition, they were conscientious about materials and clean up so we had no issues with our HOA or neighbors. We are happy with the final result, and the project stayed within budget. We were extremely pleased with the design and outcome of our recent bathroom remodel by Primework Construction and Design. We are especially delighted by the way they engineered some complex tile work. The tile craftsman they used was Vitaly and he was truly brilliant in both his aesthetic understanding and his expertise in the actual work. We did a 4-month remodel of multiple bathrooms / floors / electrical in our 2-story townhome and the experience was fantastic. From our first interaction with the team, we were impressed with their communication and the detailed initial quote. Our project was completed on time and on budget - we even decided to add additional scope because we were impressed with how things were coming along with our initial scope. The additional scope was billed to us at the fair rate we agreed upon at initial contract signing.

I've been a property owner in CA over a decade and Primework is the best contractor I've worked with. When I had a timely project come up but my go-to contractor was already full, I surveyed my network and a friend gave a very strong recommendation for Primework. During the first visit, they gave a fair quote and I was impressed with the additional ideas they had for what could be done with the space. Throughout the project (a large remodel of 3 bedroom) I could trust Art (owner/project manager), Ben (client contact) and their crew with their: skill, competency, customer-centric approach, responsiveness, and reliability. Ben and his group are dependable, diligent, and guarantee that the work they provide is of high caliber. As of right now, we've utilized them for everything from normal house maintenance to creating six unique closets and a walk-in vegetable garden.

We decided to purchase online a house plan, and we asked them to modify it to meet our lifestyle needs. They re-designed the whole back of the house to include a covered porch and two French doors increasing the expanded feeling of the living and dining room spaces. To further enhance this quality, they re-worked the plan to include raised ceilings and larger windows throughout the structure. They had great ideas and did a great job for us. Ben and his team are talented designers with an amazing eye for detail. I loved all the special touches they brought to our project: recessed lighting, electrical plugs hidden underneath the cabinets, a beautiful rounded bar countertop. When we had to cut costs, the suggestions they made actually improved the space: vinyl tile that looks like the real thing but is much easier on the legs and ceramic tile for the countertops that is beautiful and has less grouting than the usual tile. They were easy to work with and happily incorporated our suggestions into the design. They have a unique ability to combine aesthetic sensibilities with practicalities so that the finished product is pleasing on all levels. I can highly recommend Ben and his team!

I wanted to express my gratitude to Oriana and Joni for their wonderful experience throughout the kitchen makeover. Joni assisted us with design and construction, and we desired an open concept kitchen with wall elimination. The kitchen is stunning and quite useful.
