I bought my home as a second owner that was built by priority homes. The home is two years old. However, I’m already disappointed. I have had it a year. Friday my ceiling began leaking. I thought it was related to the gutters as this builder had previously knocked my gutter down and the it had standing water that I had waited and waited on the HOA to correct. I live in a condo which is why the hoa should be taking care of that part. However, after several contractors were brought in it was determined that it was the AC evaporator in the attic causing the issue. The company that made the repair found and took pictures. The AC unit piping connectors had not been glued and were falling apart and their was no safety switch even though this was installed in the attic. This is not something that would regularly occur in a two year old home and was a result of this not being adequately secured and installed correctly according to the company that fixed it. If you have a home built or buy one from them have an inspection and make sure they check his. Otherwise you will have severe damage to your home.
Further the builders staff constantly parks in front of the fire hydrant in the street in front of my unit putting my home in danger of there was a fire. It stays there for 6-8 hour shifts parked on a curb which is against association rules and in front of the hydrant which is against county laws despite the fact that there is plenty of legitimate parking nearby.
The builder refuses to take any accountability.
