  Came to house started job 3 months late from start date no communication to tell me he couldn’t start job then when he did finally start half asses everything and just take next payment and never returned in process of suing him and company biggest scam out there worst company and owner I have ever dealt with please run away from this man he will steal your money and if by chance he try’s to finish your pool there will be so many problems you will never have a working pool

  Build an in ground pool

  I signed a contract with this company in March 2019 to build an in ground 16x32 oval sports pool with a hard bottom, salt system and 4 LED lights. It was supposed to start the second week of May 2019 and take 7-10 days to complete. The contractor, George "Raymond" Hagan, placed "weather dependent" in the contract so that he could use that repeatedly as an excuse to delay the project. Initially, we did have a lot of rain and I understand that you can't pour concrete, etc in the rain. However, we would have delays for months with a drought and hardly any rain. The work that was performed was not satisfactory nor was it to the terms of the contract. The bottom of the pool is a soft bottom, not a hard bottom per the contract. We have 2 LED lights and not 4 LED lights as per the contract. The dirt was not graded back out in the yard as per the contract. There are pennies holding the liner in place as the coping is so crooked that the liner doesn't want to stay in place. The pool walls are over 2 inches out of level. He back filled with dirt when manufacturer specs says that it should be gravel. He didn't tamp the dirt or allow it to settle before pouring concrete directly on top of it and our concrete began cracking the first month. Our pool still leaks and he refuses to return to fix or even look at it. Wiring of the pumps was included in the contract and then he refused to wire them. He never completed finished the pool and never provided the safety pool cover that we paid $1,650 for in advance. We paid almost $40,000 for a pool that we will likely have to pull completely out of the ground and replace within two years (if it lasts that long) due to the poor workmanship. His crew consists of his wife, his ten year old son, his thirteen year old son and a late 20's young man. His ten year old son ran the skidster to fill it with concrete and dump it in the forms while his dad sat in his truck, completely unsupervised. Had I known how young the child was, I would not have allowed him to work on my property. This would have been unacceptable. Also, if you place a negative review or post on Facebook, he has his attorney send you a letter threatening you with a lawsuit for slander or libel. These are facts though so there is no slander or libel. He was recently arrested in Warren County, KY after allegedly taking a deposit from a customer and then never returning to complete any work. He made bond and is set for arraignment on Nov 18, 2019. I would avoid this company completely.
