My experience with this contractor was mixed. The quality of his work was excellent. He knew what he had to do and did it well. At the end of the one day project, he had what he said was "about a one hour job" to do to finish it. I paid him for the complete project, taking him at his word that he would return within a few days to finish it. After four unanswered calls over the next few weeks, I made a fifth, less friendly call which he finally answered by text. "I will not be able to get to your job this month, and your job is not big enough for me to travel up North. Give me a call in about a month and I may have something coming up in that direction where I could stop at your house." Then for the first time he added, "Just a heads up, that this work was not part of the original job and there will be a charge." That was blatantly untrue. He just didn't want to bother to complete the job. Not wanting to have any more to do with him, I hired someone else who completed the one hour job.
Summary: The quality of his work is excellent, but he didn't complete the project. Lesson learned: Dont' pay until the job is 100% complete no matter what is promised.
