Owner Jeff Linette accepted 2,100 and did no work.
Business owner Jeff Linette was contracted to condition the concrete slab floor in my home and acid etch/stain to a marbleized brown color and add 3 layers of epoxy and sealant. He was given $2,100.00 per our contract that we have available for verification to start work. He was to be paid the remaining $2,100.00 upon completion. There was also a clause in the contract that if it was needed to float some portion there would be an additional $435.00 payable at the end of service. The contracted stated there was a total budget of the sum of these not to be exceeded.
A check was cut from the repair fund trough the bank and I, to begin work on the 14th of October, 2016. I am posting this after every attempt to get any real work started has failed. He attempted during this to sell us more work as a way to get a "draw", to which I can only assume was a ploy to extract more money and provide no service.
As I see it now; sadly I thought there could be a resolution to this issue, however based on his multiple aggressive conversations with my wife causing her to behave very emotionally, and finally a combative and berating conversation with me, I was challenged by him to do whatever. I even was asked, "If I needed him to MapQuest it for me?" So a refund is now the only option.
