Francisco Ruiz, ProMasters Remodeling, LLC was contracted to complete a home renovation project initiated on March 8, 2023. Construction work stopped on May 25, 2023, without finishing the scope of work or addressing any of the known project deficiencies.
The home was left with roofing leaks, a broken furnace flue-pipe and non-working HVAC system, water infiltration behind bathroom tiled walls, significant gaps in soffit and home envelope, unsafe attic ladder, unsafely sealed water heater vents and garage, new siding exhibiting cracks and water infiltration, windows shut closed with nails through new sheathing and siding, rotten wood throughout and in unfinished interior wall and water intrusion via bottom of back porch wall.
Despite repeated requests for resolution, no meaningful efforts were made to address the outstanding issues that remain under warranty. The only poor attempt to stop water intrusion coming from the chimney and from bottom wall, nine-months late, was done on 1/10/24 by haphazardly applying some sealant that did nothing to stop water intrusion. This was immediately reported without avail.
Francisco Ruiz, ProMasters Remodeling, was compensated a total of $67,428 for work that remains incomplete and flawed with numerous deficiencies that continue to jeopardize my family’s health and the structural integrity of my home.
