Ken Vigil was wonderful. He showed up early and finished two separate jobs, one of which was extensive within a week! His work was neat and professional. I would highly recommend using him. Look

Upon the suggestion of a friend I contacted Ken (owner of this company) to replace TWO outdoor GFI’s that had previously been placed too low near the ground and had subsequently burned out due to water damage. Additionally, in my home garage I needed to have THREE existing GFI’s reactivated. Though Ken sent his helper at the scheduled time , he personally showed up at the job site later. After 3.5 hrs I was informed that the work was completed. I was charged $670.00 for the completed job and told told give check to his helper. When asked for a receipt, Ken told me to simply write a check for the above amount, and seemed slightly agitated when I let him know that it was unprofessional in my opinion, to request a payment and NOT even offer a receipt. I was obliged to run to stop his truck as he was leaving to request a receipt PRIOR to my issuing a check. He stopped his vehicl, reentered my driveway quickly hand wrote a receipt on paper from a tablet and handed to me. He also said that a ‘Proper’ printed receipt would be sent via my iPhone. It is now near midnight ( the job was completed by noon today), and yet... NO such receipt has been sent! In summary, upon subsequently checking online, I feel that I have been GROSSLY OVERCHARGED: *when asking the helper after Ken had left to tell me exactly what the job entailed.... I discovered that the garage outlets [3] were wired together and ONE re-set button simply had to be engaged (‘re-set button) to reactivate all three. *the two replaced outdoor GFI’s admittedly had to be ‘traced’ (with an instrument) to their power source. 3.5 hrs @ $150/hr was $525.00 total and for Materials: TWO [2] outdoor GFI’s for $145.00. As I had TWICE (both at the initial visit as well as BEFORE the actual work was initiated the following week......told the contractor what I needed, why did it take 3.5 hrs to complete this work. Finally, I contacted my friend who had recommended Serv Pro Electric and told them ALL of the above only to find out that they ALSO had several weeks prior, had also felt a GROSS OVERCHARGE for work done by SERV PRO ELECTRIC.......!!
