  replace roof

  These guys are great. They are quick & efficient. They let you know what is going on all of the time and walk you through the end of the job so that you know exactly what was done. I would recommend them to anyone.

  Replace roof and add roof peak vent

  On 9/8/22, work started to remove our roof. 4 workers showed up from PRO TECH ROOFING LLC around 10 am. They went to work unloading their vehicle to start the tear off. Ladder up, tools in hand they all headed up. I was curious to see how they worked together and how the tear off would go. They started on the backside of our roof. Working in unison, I watched as sections of the old roofing come off and was stacked on the opposite side of the roof. It was like watching a rehearsal for a show. In a few hours over half of the old roof was off and they just kept going. You must understand I am talking old shingles, tar paper making sure that all the nails from the old shingles were pulled. More workers showed up a few hours later and went right to work. A few hours later the backside of the house was stripped clean, and they started to move all the new roofing material from the front side of the house to the backside. By the end of the first day the entire roof was stripped, and all the bad sheets of plywood were replaced. Their attention to detail was fantastic. They walked around, cleaning up any of the roofing that fell to the ground and ran multiple magnets around the entire house as far out as 15 feet making sure any stray nails or tacks were collected. They called it quits around 7:45 to 8pm. The owner of the company said they would be back by 8am.
  At 8 am the first 3 showed up and started to set things up for the upcoming work. 30 minutes later the other 4 workers showed up. They broke up into teams and started putting down all the under layment, ice shield, and started putting down the shingles. They worked like a well-oiled machine. A few hours later with the shingling all down, they went to work on installing the ridge vent on the whole house. Roof now finished they spent the next hour or so walking around the house multiple times, picking up the smallest of fragments of roofing material, then going around the house a few more times with the magnets to make sure they got all the stray nails and staples. They used leaf blowers on the walkway and the driveway.
  I would like to say Thank You to Pro Tech Roofing LLC and to the professionalism of their workers. After the roof is paid off, I plan on seeing if the can-do other projects around the property.
