I purchased garage opener through Lowes and was scheduled with this company for install. Difficult to deal with. Spoke to Laura Jane Lots of excuses why they couldn't do job on scheduled day and time. Wanted to reschedule but could not guarantee new day and time. Apparently they feel after 3 and before 4:30 pm it gets too dark to work inside a garage, according to Laura. Excuses to get out of install. Was able to go through Lowes and schedule with another installer. Very unprofessional.

Terrible service, quality and value. We bought a newly constructed house and the builder subcontracted to Professional Door and Opener for the garage door. They installed the door, but did not install the opener. They had everything wired for the garage door opener, and then left a card for the new home owners (our neighbors complained of the same issue) to call and pay an extra $300 to have an opener installed. Maybe standard practice, but it seemed a little ridiculous to squeeze someone for a little extra cash after buying a brand new house. Less than a year and a half later, one of the springs on the garage door broke. I called Professional Door and Opener to ask if this is 'normal' and they said that yes, springs can break about every 2 years and it would cost $185 to replace the one spring, but they couldn't get to the job for about a week. I called another company (Whitehall Doors) and they gave me a better price, better explanation and faster service. I would never go back to Professional Door and Opener.
