    replace porch. simple job

Owner was quick to respond. Sent over a worker and Brian never came by again to check on work.
5 year warranty. Two years later entire porch falling apart. Said he would come by to see multiple times. Never showed up.
Now we're off to court. Entire porch must be replaced.

Working with Professionally Green has caused my family so much stress, financial hardship, and has left the front of my house unfinished and a mess. He took all the money for the job and left the job unfinished! I would not recommend this company to my enemy.

Brian seemed very nice and professional in the beginning but it quickly became clear that he was not one to stick to timelines or be truthful about the timelines or pricing.

    Pricing and Contract:
    - Brian’s original quote of the job was nearly half of the total I ended up paying him in the end
    - Brian took weeks to provide me with a written contract and the contract was missing several key parts of the job that the plans clearly included

    Timelines Brian told me:
    - During initial consultation/estimate & when he started in July 2019 he told us whole job would be done in 3-4 weeks
    - I asked several times throughout the project about when the job would be done and was always told a lie
    - Over a year after the start date and the job is still incomplete

When they first began the job they were working quickly and getting things done. Brian was always asking for additional money to complete the job and I trusted him so I gave it to him. On September 7, 2019 he asked for the final $5,000 for the job, when I gave it to him I was very clear that this was his final payment and he agreed.

Once September came around they stopped showing up to the job for over a month and Brian would just say they’re coming tomorrow, the next day, next week, etc but no one would ever come. They started back up in late October and stopped coming again the end of November. Brian told me they were not coming to dig because one of his workers had Mono, they didn’t come to dig for several weeks so I told him he obviously needed to hire someone else to dig the trench, customers should not be left with an incomplete job for weeks due to one worker’s sickness. The digging was never complete.

In November I contacted Brian several times after the workers stopped arriving for days and asked what was going on and when the job would be finished he never answered. After I pointed out that the job was clearly very behind schedule, he tried to blame me, I told him he’s wrong then he never came back (clearly I offended him and my punishment is an incomplete job). Then on December 5th I came home and all the supplies from his workers were taken away. I reached out to him via phone call and text he never answered. I left several voicemails with no answers.

We have been left with an incomplete job with a trench filled with water along our driveway, a driveway covered in mud and sand that I have to step in everyday, veneer missing from the house, no lighting, and a dirt front lawn. There is still about $20,000 worth of work that needs to be completed, money that Brian already has from me.

When it was very clear Brian had no intention of returning to the job I contacted my lawyer who sent Brian a certified letter giving him 10 days to respond before we file a lawsuit, unfortunately Brian never answered. I had another lawyer send a similar certified letter several months later, still no reply. I also reported him to consumer affairs where an investigator there is looking into the case and has spoken to Brian. Brian came up with several excuses as to why he left my job but after a while he completely ignored consumer affairs.

If Brian is not concerned about 2 certified letters with possible lawsuits and the consumer affairs he has clearly done this before and plans to continue doing it. Do not use Professionally Green they will take your money and leave you with an incomplete job!
