    My wife and I interviewed 6 builders in Nashville for the home we planned on constructing on a lot we bought in Green Hills. Harold from Progressive Development was the only one who showed up on time to our appointment. His experience and portfolio spoke for itself and we choose them for our project. Our home was constructed within our original budget and delivered on time. I knew it would be a long process since because of the size (5k SF) but honestly it went much smoother than I ever could have imagined.

    I had a great experience with Progressive Development. They delivered the home on time within the original budget. I even had a couple change orders that were accommodated without a problem. Recommended them to a friend and her house turned out beautiful as well.

    They built the home

    Here is an update regarding Progressive Development from my last review. Although we have had many issues with our home over the last year and a half, The builder has stepped up to the plate and attempted to fix most of the issues. We could not be happier with the location of the home.

    New home Purchase

    I would not recommend Progressive Development,LLC. I was about to buy a home from them in 12 South Area in Nashville. Then read the reviews and started to look closer at the house. The quality and detail is very poor. Found golf ball size holes in the walls at the corners near countertops that were just caulked instead of fixed properly. The worst wallboard and paint finish I ever seen in a new home. Terrible hardwood floor finish. Some portions of the exterior was not even painted. The cedar stain finish was already starting to peel off. The bathroom tile work was low grade. To many items to list. The General contractor who oversees the construction has no experience as a builder and depends solely on the sub contractors. So you get a poor product. I decided to walk from my deposited and put it down as a lessen learned. I would suggest you think twice before buying a Home from Progressive.

    We bought a Progressive Development Llc.-built home in south Nashville and we have had nothing but trouble for months. Cheaply made leaking doors and windows that have glue oozing out of them, uneven baseboards, uneven door frames, HVAC systems blocked and not installed properly, scratched floors, messy, dripping paint jobs, decks that have uneven boards that have nails working their way out, little to no insulation between each floor so you can hear every footstep and every word spoken on other floors of the house. Doors have paint coming off because they were not primed. Plumbing fixtures not installed properly, broken tiles and missing grout and caulking all over the house. Granite counter tops not installed evenly with deep nicks and scratches. They attempt to fix issues but basically do "band aid" fixes rather than spending the money to do proper fixes. If we had to do over we would run as far away from this builder's product as we can get. Seems like every day we find a new issue with the poor quality left by this builder. If you find a home built by this builder keep looking. No attention to detail whatsoever.
