INCOMPETENT AND DISHONEST. DO NOT HIRE!
"Satisfaction will not always be met from either party"
We hired Eddie L and his company Prolux Restoration to finish our balcony. They promised us several times they knew how to work with hardwood. Instead, they purchased the cheapest quality wood that was still green, so when they installed it it warped in multiple places. They didn't treat the ends of the boards, so we ended up with splits on many of the boards. They used sheetrock screws to screw down the boards and didn't pre-drill or blunt any of the screws, causing the wood to split. The screws were even drilled in so far, that the sharp points were left sticking out under our feet where we walk, and many screws even snapped due to the excessive torque! When we pointed out these issues, they refused to come back to address them and to finish other work for which they already received a deposit. We also had issues with them buying materials for us, since they refused to share photos before buying, then complained that we rejected the materials on delivery.
Their final message to us was, and I quote "There are various outcomes between contractors and clients. Unfortunately, satisfaction will not always be met from either party."

Hired Eddie at Prolux to build a deck in the back of my house. He told me that the project should take no more than 3 weeks once they start. It took more than a year before they ever started the work. He lied to me and started working without a permit only to find out weeks later that he had not yet received a permit to do the work. Collected money to complete a certain size with stairs and awning as well as other things, but did not deliver. Deck failed final inspection on 10/04/22 and we are now in March 2023, they have yet to respond to the objection with the DOB. Vesna charged me an additional $4600 without having had a prior discussion with me and bullied me into paying her that money or else she would have stopped the work that I waited for almost an entire year to begin. Against my own will, wishing for the deck to be done and over with, I paid her the additional and made it known to her that I didn’t agree with it. They are serial liars and unprofessional. They only care about money and could care less about customer satisfaction. This has been a nightmare from hell.
