A neighbor had work done by Nick Miller of ProSource as well, based on a family recommendation. We hired Nick as a result, to have much the same work done on our house in the summer/fall of 2018. The quality of their work was very good - - no issues to date - - with the exception of problems/mis-communication regarding our front step. We were told at the time that the weather was too cool for them to break down the old cement & re-pour & have it successfully cure, and they would take care of it in the spring. From that point on, after having received payment in full, Nick seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. No calls, texts, or e-mails were replied to between March & August 2019. Mailboxes were full or calls unanswered. The only update I received as to when they'd do the repair came on May 30 from Nick, when he replied via text that they'd be by in mid-June when they were in the area on another job. June & July came & went with no work & no responses to attempts to get updates. I happened to see Nick's foreman, Alex, in mid-July, when he was working that nearby neighbor's job. I went over to speak with him & caught him off-guard, but he basically brushed me off when I asked why no responses from Nick, other than to say that he "was around", "busy", etc. It took until August for the new step to be poured, and this time the workmen didn't cover it to protect it from the heavy rain that fell later that day, so the step was discolored with a strange pattern in it when it cured. Despite my follow-up communications attempts, I have never heard from them since. I also have never received the promised pictures/documents of the entire repair & problem areas, which would be useful going forward with any insurance or future repair issues. According to Nick before he stopped communicating, he was waiting to get everything from Nick. Well, it's now been ANOTHER year since the job was done, and nothing there either. It's frustrating. Good work followed by VERY POOR communications & failure to deliver on promises. We were extremely flexible and understanding of how weather impacted their planned work schedule. But we didn't give them any hard due dates. All we asked for was communication as to progress & plans, so we could be home to turn on the outside water, have them run electrical cords to inside the house, answer questions, etc as needed, so his crew wouldn't waste any time/dates with unavailable utilities or unanswered questions. Nick's failure to provide any responses to our numerous attempts to reach out to him unfortunately results in our having to lower his company's overall star rating. On top of that, because it took almost a year for our issue to get corrected, and they completely stopped communicating or responding to calls/texts/e-mails that entire time, we could not in good conscience recommend them to any of the several neighbors in our development who were also looking for similar stucco-remediation work to be done on their homes. Maybe Nick has enough on his plate that he doesn't need or want the additional jobs. Or maybe he's experiencing issues that impacted his efforts. I guess we'll never know, as he has not made any attempt in almost 2 years now to reach out and respond to us, or provide us with promised documentation/pictures.
