    TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE. Pro-Tek Pools and its owner James Warren McAlister are criminals. March 20th 2017 (yes 2017) I gave McAlsiter $25,500 and I still have a hole in the ground, McAlister is disrespectful and now will not return my calls. We know there are many more of you out there that have had similar treatment. Please contact us, we are stronger together. Tel. 561 768 3137

    Family with two little children RIPPED OFF 100%. Jim is a rip off artist. Please do not believe one single thing he says. He stole over $13,000 and we still have an empty ditch in our back yard. You can call me 561-352-6967. He has every excuse in the book. He got a lawyer rather than facing us like a professional to tell us he is incapable of doing the job. -- He dug part of a ditch and attempted to lay some concrete block for the sun-shelf. It was the only thing he managed to build with sub-contractors. When I learned the concrete block had no footers (foundational support) and was not on the plans, I reported it to the city who told Jim to cure his problem. Jim in writing agreed to demo the only work he managed to do. Then he never came back, abandoned the job, got a lawyer and has been trying to figure out how not to pay us back since he did virtually no work . Criminal. IT IS FRAUDULENT!! He even asked his lawyer how bankruptcy (which he has done before apparently) might benefit him. PLEASE DON'T TRUST A THING THIS "NICE GUY ACT" TELLS YOU.
    To sum it up, here is one last story from our year long odyssey/nightmare: When Jim got his bulldozer stuck for the second time in the whole he dug (which by the way a bull dozer is the wrong tool for this job, you need an excavator) he told us, after it being stuck for over 2 weeks, that if he could not pull it out, that he would have to bury it below the pool!! INSANE environmental hazard also! My wife had to show him the method by which he could dig out the dozer... that was the last we ever saw of Jim... His best excuse was to try to tell us that there was faulty soil conditions. Funny, our soil reports said we were fine and so did at least 7 other pool builders. Some of which have offered to be expert witnesses for free because they say that guys like this give their industry a bad name... the whole truth from a disappointed family.
